@taintdcrown Ritsu and Rei
The night was comforting, an embrace he couldn’t otherwise have in the current scenario he was in. Ritsu wanted to return to the area he first arrived in after getting a bit more settled ; retracing steps and expanding on his knowledge of the surrounding area. When he first arrived at Hydrangea Transit, it was odd how calm the appearance of it made him, like the place knew exactly what would soothe his heart as he stepped off the train. But that was before, now was standing outside of the transit, doing his best to avoid looks from passersby that dared to look his way.
Shangzou’s appearance, it was rather similar to Japan. At least, in the old time. So he didn’t feel too out of place, even if his sloppy appearance would say otherwise, Japan was a safe country, so surely Shangzou had to be as well, right? It’s a bit too early to call anything safe but familiarity breeds comfort. No distinct path he would wander under the moonlight until he found himself a few paces away from a tea stop. Lily Tea — If he was reading the sign right. A tea house, the scent of pastries, tea, and other sweet delights. Tea was another comfort so he found himself drawn closer but not yet entered. Instead, he watched like an outsider, watching over the patrons of this teahouse.
‘I should be more relieved— because no one here knows who I am. Which, is already a great thought. But just being in a place I don’t know at all, I don’t know if I can exactly bring myself to enter an establishment. I’m considered an adult but there’s a feeling of dissonance. Kind of like I’m just walking with a neon sign attached to me.’ Mulling over thoughts, he waves about the sleeve of his shirt, attempting to look occupied as he continues to watch from a distance. After all, isn’t that what a Sakuma does best? Watch from the shadows where no one can see.
▌█ Night is when he thrived, when he was able to get up and clear his head, explore thoroughly and see what became of this place. Was this just another part of Achillia that he was completely unaware of... ? Did Koi have more areas than those few islands? Then again, Koi had it’s fair share of secrets from what he remembers but it’s a bit blurry now. He tries to remember it all fondly though ... He’ll familiarize himself with all the new areas instead~ He knows places like this usually have more than enough accommodations to make sure they are comfortable and happy. He had a small notepad with him as he went so he could discuss anything he found later with Eichi or Ritsu as they were the only two that were familiar in that way to him. They knew what he was talking about, Unlike The Leo and Keito here... At least he wasn’t alone~
▌█ He had been in his own thoughts for a bit before a familiar presence could be sensed just out of the way a bit. It seems even after so long and so many attempts to simply give Ritsu more space he still could pick him out instantly in any situation. He pushed the back of the pen against his forehead as he mentally scolded himself for a moment (Despite he did no wrong in this situation). It wasn’t hard to spot him and he was just ... absently staring at an establishment. To others he may have appeared busy but to Rei he very clearly could tell he was observing. He can imagine Ritsu isn’t dealing with this well at all ...
❛ Do you want to go inside? ❜ A tea shop ... it smells pleasant, though not somewhere Rei would really find himself without reason (Ritsu and Eichi are pretty good reasons though), He’s not sure how he’ll react to being asked by him, but he can only hope that he’ll respond well. ❛ It smells good, You should enjoy yourself, Ritsu ♪ ❜
