its probably a normal sign for the economy that all of my adulthood fantasies are like "imagine having your own kitchen living room and bathroom to decorate" "what if i could get on a train" "maybe one day i could purchase a sturdy pair of shoes" "i should save and invest in a single bicycle"

I have been saving money so I can buy some new shoes next month...they are like 50€ but that's already so much money for me that I need a whole plan to deal with that. I slept on my couch (that I got second hand) for the first year of living in my apartment bc I couldn't afford a stupid mattress. life is hell :(

I just wanna be able to sometimes meet with my friends and go out for dinner without having to plan it 3 months ahead so I can be sure to have the 30€ for it. I wanna be able to just go out in the park and get some ice-cream without having to feel guilty for spending money on "useless" things.
