Things that happened/Cannon in KnB that I don't think people pay enough attention to.
• During middle school/highschool, Aomine shows severe signs of depression from his lack of motivation to how often he sleeps. Looking at this, it would make sense to say that Aomine having depression is cannon.
• Akashi actually has a mental disorder. It’s cannon that he has a personality disorder.
• There’s a chance that Himuro actually use to get into fights. When confronting Haizaki, he notes that the way Himuro dogged his punch is like that of someone who isn’t new to fighting (or something like that). I could be reading into it too much, but is it really that ridiculous to assume that Himuro probably got into a good amount of fist fights in America?
• When he is first talking about Aomine, Kise describes him as “really skilled, but tremendously dark.” This isn’t very Suprising, seeing as Kise is a model and dark skin isn’t coined as appealing in japan, but the fact that he said that about Aomine makes me question what type of person he actually is. But, this did happen in middle school, so there’s a chance he may have changed.
• When Momoi and Aomine got into a fight (the one about him being benched because of his injury) she calls him a ganguro out of anger. Not many people saw this as a big deal, after all it’s just a fashion trend in japan, right? Wrong. Ganguro is a fashion trend in japan, yes, but it is also a form of black face. The word can literally be translated to “burn-black look” “black face” or “dark tanning”. The problem with this is that many dark skinned Asians (in and out of japan) get ridiculed for their dark skin, resorting in many of them trying to bleach themselves with creams etc, and yet a bunch of girls wanted to darken their skin (amount other things) to be stylish. Basically, she is pointing out his color in a negative way out of anger. The biggest problem with this is that she is his best friend.
• Aomine has been seen swimming with his team. In a speedo. That in itself is enough evidence for one to assume that it is cannon that he at least shaves his “down low” area.
• Aomine asked Momoi if she believed in fate while thinking about kagami.
• When Aomine cheers for Kuroko/Kagami, Kagami is the only one to be shown reacting.
• Aomine and Kagami’s hair are very similar, if not the exact same, in the extra game.
• The extra game made Americans look like complete assholes.
• When he first came to Kagami’s house, Aomine looked for his porn stash.
•Hyuuga made a really good craft on Kuroko’s birthday (the people holding hands thing)

These are just a few things I noticed. Maybe I’ll post more later, after I’ve rewatched/read the anime/manga.
