This painting came after a journey through France. Normandy was cold, windy and restless, then the south felt completely different — warm, quiet, filled with lavender. Two opposite worlds, and somewhere between them this feeling appeared. Lavender, geese, warm air — something simple, but alive. I didn’t paint what I saw, I painted what stayed with me. ✨ north or south?
