'Under Monet's Pond' by Eiko Jones
a little reminder! by annalaura_art
I want time to be quiet. I want a week where there’s nothing expected of me. I want some light snowfall. I want a home I can rearrange the furniture with every season. To bring friends over to be warmed by the fireplace. I want to paint the walls. I want to curl into you until I feel my hurt fall asleep. I want to pluck rosemary from the windowsill. I want to feel comfort again. I want so much space in my heart for the light to fill.
the (un)holy trinity: religious trauma, parental issues and the desire for academic validation

you are not a machine. you are more like a garden. you need different things on different days. a little sun today, a little less water tomorrow. you have fallow and fruitful seasons. it is not a design flaw. it is wiser than perpetual sameness. what does your garden need today?
i enjoy the simple things in life like sleeping, daydreaming, ignoring reality, listening to music, being delusional, recklessly spending my cash, being a disappointment to my family and eating fruits

When You Least Expect It. Probably Late March
reblog for happiness to come for you in late march!
the fact that we’re apes is SO funny… i can calculate how many parsecs away a nebula is based upon its apparent magnitude for a fun little brain exercise. i also feel depression and existential ennui if my curtains are shut for too long because my brain has a 45000 year old creature in it who feels that darkness holds too many unknown threats
this has gotten 500x more true this year
life: you need to make a single phone call
me:
made the phone call
parting is such sweet sorrow
lil wonky ones
goodnight to: butches who never wear makeup, fresh apple cider lovers, big snugglers, drive through workers, people who wear socks during sex, lesbian baristas, femmes who aren’t cis, queers who grew up catholic, home cooks, gays who prefer hot coffee, bratty bottoms, potato enthusiasts, people who are unsure about their gender, sour beer drinkers, and gay aunts
I finally made an instagram for these @shitsfine (shhhitsfine was already taken) you can be my first follower if you want!
my ultimate fantasy is having a brain that lets me enjoy being alive
