possibly

you were shitting on today

& I kinda got that

being held hostage by my past

feeling uncertain about my future

except

the more he went on

the more it seemed

he was interested in presentation

being looking the right kinda person

& being in the moment

I realised he was just another salesman

The girl scared herself with her thoughts. Thinking about kissing this girl, her very best friend. Because she was straight, and she’d never questioned it before. But in eighth grade she realized, obviously she was wrong. And it was scary. Because it’s scary to realize you’re not who you think you are. Because maybe the girl just wished she was wrong. And maybe she spent her nights hoping her feelings would disappear. Because even if she wasn’t straight, which of course she was, nothing could happen between these bestest of friends.
