Hello everybody,

(I have a Shadowhunters question at the end)

I recently received a message asking for proof that everything that’s happened was actually true. They wanted me to post Megan’s obituary, pictures of my nephews, even suggested copies of medical records or funeral bills to prove Megan had actually passed, I can’t do that guys. I have to protect my nephews. I’m really sorry.

I know someone asking for money on the internet lends to a certain amount of suspicion and that’s understandable, it is, but I can’t do something to jeopardize my kids safety.

I know it could mean more donations for the debt and expenses that has been increasing but I can’t and I hope you understand.

If you would still like to donate it’s incredibly, honestly appreciated and it’s also understood if you can’t or don’t feel comfortable with it.

Which leads to a second message I received asking for an amount needed. Right now I’m most worried about the boys shoes and boots situation and current school fees for their tuition.

School fees are $179 for my eldest in 4th grade and $139 for my youngest in 2nd grade.

As for the shoes, they don’t need anything expensive. Lowest prices at the Walmart here is $10.

Hey everyone,

This is gonna be an odd question but does anyone know a trick to making shoes bigger?

Both my nephews need new shoes and I don’t have an extra cent after funeral and medical expenses and that won’t change for quite a while.

Any trick or anything you may know about? Will it work on snow boots as well? Boots are even more expensive.

Thank you for all the amazing and kind messages, they certainly help during this time.

Some news, if I can pay for half the cost that the memorial will cost, by tomorrow (as those in charge of financing will be gone for holiday break) the animal shelter that Megan volunteered and fostered for will pay the rest and have a photo and plaque put up at their shelter for her.

We need $135 as someone has generously donated already. If anyone is willing to pitch in, it would be an amazing Christmas gift for us, no matter the amount.

It was snowing when we laid Megan to rest and she would have liked that. The boys sang Amazing Grace and I nearly broke but I have to be strong for them.

We received letters today from Megan in the event of her passing and one of them was to you guys.

I’ve wrote letters to all my loved once and of course I had to write one for you guys as well because you’ve become part of my family and I love you all so much.

I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my family. You gave me precious time my my nephews and the love of my life and I just can’t thank you enough for it.

I’ll be keeping every single one of you talented, amazing, wonderful, Godsent wacky, precious angels in my heart and you’ll always be with me.

Remember to live every single day in your own terms, take the good, the bad and make your life around you. Enjoy the little things and definitely don’t forget to cheer yourself on, because I’ll be looking in you doing the same thing.

I was asked what the money will go towards and how much it’ll cost. The money donated will go towards the handmade bench, the oak tree, the dog treat dispenser and treats, and the permits that are needed.

The tree will be about $40, the bench will be half off at $75, dispenser about $15, and the permits cost $185. So all together around $310

Any amount is appreciated and there will be a list of donor names on the plaque for those interested.

I regret to tell you guys that Megan passed away December 7th. She fought hard, came back to us for a few precious weeks but ultimately her condition returned and she was unable to fight this time.

Me and the boys are utterly heartbroken but I made her a promise not to let them grieve too long, to celebrate her life. I’m going to do the best I can with that promise. It’ll be hard.

Funeral will be next week and I’m planning a memorial in the dog park she brought our dogs, a little garden with a bench and a dog treat dispenser with a plaque on it, telling who the treats are coming from.

I want to thank all of you so, so much for helping the way you did, you gave us precious time with her and she would want you to know that she was grateful.

I’d also like to have a little box with messages from you guys as well, to put by her headstone. I’ll make an email account for you to send on your words too.

I’ll know Monday whether the specialist for my jaw suggests I either have surgery, rebreak and rewire my jaw, or wait longer to see how it continues to heal.

If you didn’t see my last update, if I come up with the $240 by the first, my landlord with waive the $25 a day late fee and extend the grace period I’d need to pay next months rent, giving me enough time to focus on my health and to look for roommate.

She’s doing okay! Doctor says she’s out of the woods, looking so better, she’s been upgraded for fair condition!
