Kamiko ignored her own videos as they came up and instead focused on everyone around her. She, for one, didn’t need to see the familiar pictures of her siblings and cousins being beaten; she knew they would have experienced the same kind of torture even if Monobear hadn’t caused it. It was a type of discipline that Kamiko was all too familiar with. They could handle something like that.
Her expression saddened as she saw the looks and horrified expressions of those whose families weren’t as disciplined as hers. She had never seen that kind of reaction before, mostly because she needed to get out more. That being said, she was trying to understand exactly what they were feeling to no avail.
As she heard a thump, followed by Takeo screaming, she deduced something might be wrong. She turned and went to check out exactly what was going on. What she found was Takeo holding that one girl— Kamiko couldn’t really place her name—, trying to look for a place to put her.
"I can help," she spoke softly, appearing next to Takeo. She tilted her head to him before taking Karin’s other arms over her shoulder. "…I can carry her."
"C-Can you, really?" There was a distressed look on his face. For some odd reason, Takeo felt like this girl, almost an inch shorter than him, could actually carry Karin despite his own difficulty. It wasn't the outfit, no, anyone could dress up like a ninja, but rather her attitude. Kamiko didn't seem like the type to lie and the way she helped him earlier made Takeo feel like she could be trusted. Stopping in his tracks, he allowed the purple-haired girl to take Karin.
"Thank you... Um... Purple-tama..." Takeo made a half-hearted attempt at smiling, but still showed signs of worry in his eyes. Sure, the likelihood that Karin fainted from the shocking video was high, but in this situation, Takeo just didn't know for sure.
