Talia couldn’t help but grin at how excited her little corgi was to meet someone new “His name is Buzz and I think he’s awfully fond of you” she laughed “Um yeah, loads of students around here have different pets now”

Zach blinked as Talia hurried over to him so fast. So sweet, she was. Worried about him and mortified over the most mischievous of things. Talia was precious. “I’m fine!” He said, nodding happily. “No, I’m completely fine. I—Talia, I’m always getting into trouble, honestly…” but he looked her up and down and jumped up happily. “Merlin! I am so fucking excited, I didn’t have anyone who was Tinkerbell until now! And now you’re my Tink! Tink and Peter Pan!” Zach was so excited about this surprise. He had no idea Talia was going as Tinkerbell. “We need to take a picture. It has to happen.”

The minute she saw Zach nod, her worry slipped away and her usual beaming smile returned to her face “Oh! Okay! I’m glad you’re okay but I’m sorry you got in trouble.” Startled at the enthusiasm, it took her a few moments to realise what had gotten him so excited “Oh wait! Tinkerbell! That’s me! That’s me!” she cheered. It wasn’t until then that she noticed her friends costume “And you’re Peter!” Talia beamed, bouncing in place and clapping her hands. “Yes! We need to, it’s a must. I didn’t even know anyone was going as Peter”

Zach was heading back to the common room from Slughorn’s party, having had had a bit to drink already. He stopped in his tracks when he saw a pumpkin on the ground, carved out and pretty. The smiling pumpkin on the floor was just begging to be kicked. Zach couldn’t keep himself from doing so. He stood back a little before running towards it and kicked it as hard as he could. It flew through the corridor in an arc, only to hit McGonagall’s back and splattering into pieces. Zach’s mouth fell to the floor in horror. He was yelled at and got detention before he turned to someone who’d been in the corridor since everything went down. “That was a really good kick though, right?”

In true Talia fashion, she was skipping her way through the corridor and throwing an insane amount of glitter that she was using has ‘fairy dust’ for the night. She spotted Zach in the distance and was about to call out to him when everything began to seem like slow motion. His smile, the pumpkin, that bullseye kick right to the Professors back. Talia dropped the rest of her glitter and her hands shot straight to cover her mouth - absolutely mortified at what she just witnessed. She ran straight over to him after the yelling had calmed down “Are you okay?” she asked, her eyes still wide in disbelief at what just occurred “I mean yeah, it was a bullseye but...wow”

“Seriously? With all the characters, no one decided to join my Wizard of Oz theme?” This scarecrow was missing a lion and tin man. Hell, he’d even take a Toto. He hadn’t spotted any costumes that went along with his own. Luka was in the Great Hall, naturally supervising as many students went to and from the area.

“Sorry professor, we didn’t get the memo. I’m sorry no one else joined in with you” She felt bad standing in her Tinkerbell costume when she could have helped the professor out and joined the Wizard of Oz theme.

Raising a toddler as a single father in a massive castle definitely had its hardships. Jeremy couldn’t look away for barely a moment before Danielle was already latching onto someone’s leg.

Immediately Jeremy’s cheeks flush red, bending down to pick up his daughter who is insistent on remaining locked to the other’s leg, “Dani!” Before looking at the other with sympathy, “Sorry…I guess the Princess likes you.” He says as he presses a kiss on his daughter’s head before picking her up and resting her upon his hip.

Talia was bouncing around the party, absolutely beaming with happiness at the atmosphere and seeing everyone having a great time. She was caught off guard when she felt something latch onto her leg. When she looked down she was met by a tiny someone “Hello sweetie, are you lost?” she asked the little girl before the Professor came over. “Oh professor, I’m sorry it didn’t click that she was your daughter.” Talia apologised, tickling the side of the child “That’s okay, I like her too. But i think it may have been the fairy thing that won her over” she laughed and held out a little bag filled with glitter to Dani “Now this is fairy dust. Can you keep it safe with you? At the end of the night if you’ve looked after it, you can throw it into the sky and make a wish, okay?”

“I bet I can make your day TEN TIMES better than it already was. Here, see—” Zara grinned, reaching out to pull something from the pockets in their school robes. Zara lifted their hands gingerly, revealing a small kitten sleeping in their palms. “A kitten! I wouldn’t be surprised, with all the cats lying around here, but I found this little one here — I’ve named him Lionel — all alone without his mum or anything.”

Her curiosity was running wild at what Zara could possibly have that would make her day better. She was having an amazing day already. The sun was out, her cat was healthy and the house elves cut her morning fruit into fun shapes - how could it get better. Talia all but squealed along with the ‘awww’ that quickly followed afterwards when the kitten was revealed “Best. Surprise. Ever!” she beamed and scratched behind its ears “Poor Lionel. What are you going to do with him?”

Oh...” Talia sang happily while playing with her small munchkin cat on a corner patch of grass out by the water. She let out a bright laugh at the animal being distracted by a bumblebee and watched joyfully as the cat leaped around for the black and yellow insect.
