My novel is officially at over 100 pages typed! It’s been a long road to get it there, but progress is being made and I’m proud of myself for not giving up! 😭🙌

My favorite parts of my novel to write are the parts where my main character goes absolutely feral. My girl is going through a LOT, she has no time for anybody’s shit. It’s so fun to write her just freaking out, because for the most part she always has to be so reserved. She has to keep up an image. The situation she is in has pushed her to her breaking point and she has lost all patience for almost everyone around her. I cannot wait to push her even further.

My husband and I have been talking about becoming foster parents. It’s definitely something that I know can be difficult, but I feel like we’re in a good position to give a child a safe, loving environment. Honestly any insight or advice would be really great, as we’re planning to go meet with someone in regards to it either this week or next.
