"From that I’m gathering you don’t have anything green on so I’m sorry,” Talia said as she quickly pinched her friend. She tried to be gentle, but surely no one liked to be pinched. “It’s a big thing I’m afraid, so here you go, at least now no one else will be able to do it,” she explained, then took off her green headband and placed it on Maggie’s head.

“Participation? Oh hun,” Aurora shook her head, then smiled softly at the other. “Let me tell you what, let’s not end up at the very bottom and I’ll buy you whatever drink you choose. How does that sound?” She offered. While bribes were not exactly the best solution, it wasn’t like anything bad was going to happen if she gently nudged the other towards trying a bit more.

Talia nibbled on her lower lip, her cheeks now red from embarrassment. She was always selective when it came to things she wanted to learn, however she liked to think she knew what truly mattered. Besides, she had made it that far, so she couldn’t be completely hopeless. There was also the matter of her being able to hear things when she focused enough. Cheating wasn’t really her style, but she also didn’t want the other to dislike her. “I’ll do my best,” she promised after a moment of silence.

"Is there something in particular that you enjoy here? I’m not really a picky eater, actually I usually forget to eat while I drink and then I absolutely hate myself for being so careless, but you only live once so who cares,” Talia rambled. She couldn't stop smiling since the both of them sat down together. She truly enjoyed spending her time with Adeline and perhaps she was trying a bit too much for the other to like her, but she didn’t really care.

When Talia noticed her friend, she didn’t hesitate even for a moment before throwing her arms around Maggie and giving her a big kiss on the cheek. “Hello gorgeous,” she greeted. “You’e got exactly five seconds to show me you’re wearing something green,” Talia grinned.

When the first plate of onion rings landed near her, Talia’s hand shot to grab herself a couple. Only after she shoved them into her mouth and started chewing, she realised the plate might’ve not been hers to begin with. She blushed, looking around to find the owner. “Sorry,” she mumbled, her mouth still full. “Is this... Is this yours?” She asked the woman sitting nearby.

My eyes and my smile. I’ve always been told that they’re most noticeable and I couldn’t agree more. In general, I’m happy with how I am, both on the outside and on the inside, but if I need to choose, then those two would be obvious winners.

“The selection that you’ve got is absolutely delectable,” Charlie admired the flower shops as she passed through. She was not big on the crowded events often hosted, but going to the Valentine’s festival on a weekday when she had a spare moment had certainly made it a more enjoyable experience. She had her camera slung around her neck, tempted to take a photograph of the display but not wanting to do that without paying. “How much for these peonies? They’d look lovely on my desk,” she asked the attendant politely before noticing someone came up beside her. “Are you a peony fan yourself or perhaps more of a gerber daisy kind of person?” she asked with a soft laugh.

Talia decided to treat herself to a nice bouquet although, as always, she did have a problem with choosing what she wanted. "I suppose I’m any flower kind of person. And that’s the problem since I can never pick just one,” she smiled awkwardly. Perhaps she should just get one of each and just call it a success.

She had stopped counting a while ago how many she ate and since no one had told her off yet, she was planning to continue until she was forcibly pushed away.

"It’s been a couple of years since I last saw fireworks display at a ball like that,” Talia admitted. She spent the last few years celebrating together with muggles at Times Square and she did have high hopes for this event. After all, it’s going to be the first one as a married woman. “Were you here last year?”

"I need your honest opinion,” Talia turned to her friend. “Do you think my boobs look good in this dress? Or do you think someone may think I stuffed socks inside?” She asked Maggie. “I mean, you saw me doing the latter so you’ll know the difference.”
