Pyrrha’s expression softened and she nodded, “all right, Jaune. If you want me to stay, I will stay.”

"Of course I do." He grinned. "I need someone to help me forget I’m in a ton of pain, don’t I? And thankfully….you being here…

Pyrrha shook her head, “no, I will just have to stop before my attack connects from now on.”

"That could help too." He chuckled once more.

Pyrrha chewed her lip, still feeling guilty but trying to smile for Jaune’s sake.

Jaune soon fell asleep. Their visits continued till the end of that week, when Jaune was released from the infirmary.

"Hey there. Nice to meet you all. I'm Jaune."

"Nothing. As in literally nothing. My team has been gone all day, and I’ve been wandering around for familiar faces." He said as he caught up to her. "I had a dream like this once, except everyone had been turned into animals…" He said, chuckling and amusing more himself than her. "How’ve you been?"

“Nothing huh?Well that’s almost the same case with me here except that I’m not going around looking for familiar faces so much as just taking a walk though.”

Ruby mused about what Jaune has said about everyone turning into animals. “Hmm..I wonder..Weiss would definitely be like a wolf or something,with that quick temper of hers and all…Yang?…Mmm..Lion?I don’t know.”

Deciding to push that thought into the back of her head for another day, She gave out a soft sigh as she heard Jaune’s second question. “Not that great,I mean I’m fine and everything!Just that the homework is really difficult so I been having some trouble with it…okay a lot of trouble with it but I think I’m slowly getting the gist of it..I think.”

A sudden thought of hanging out with Jaune popped into her head and she decided to put it into action since she was about done with the work plus she could get to know more about him.

“Hey Jaune,Since you’re not doing much,wanna go with me on my walk?”

"Me too." Jaune deflated. His workload had been killer as well. "Especially for Professor Ooblat's class. That guy talks waaaaay too fast." The blonde thought a moment, and upon realizing he had nothing to do, it sounded like fun. "Yeah, sure that sounds great." He replied with a grin. "It'll remind me of the first day of classes when we got lost because we both thought the other was leading us somewhere."

His hand wrapped around hers. "We may need to do this again if I'm gonna become a better fighter." He chuckled, coughing as the laugh pressed his wound.

Her’s ears picked up the sound of a familiar voice calling out to her,turning around to find the source,she was greeted with the sight of Jaune which caused a smile to crawl upon her faces. “Oh,Jaune was the one who was calling me..I wonder what’s up?I hope we don’t have to go through the whole nope thing all over again..though I don’t mind doing it again if it’s necessary”

Disregarding her train of thought,she realized that she had probably just wasted some time and Jaune was waiting for a reply or reaction out of her so she quickly waved to her fellow leader of team JNPR so as to not seem rude to him.

“Hey Jaune!What’s up?"

Jaune inperceptably slumped. Phyrra /does/ talk about me. “I mean, yeah….” He said, defeated. “There’s just too many things to focus on at once. Where my feet are, my weapon and shield placement, and I suppose sometimes my natural instinct is to block rather than dodge.”

"Heh,well I am here to help!"He said patting Jaune back a bit to hard. "It is all with instinct! I can teach you if you want!" He grinned big,hoping the boy would say yes.

A grunt escaped Jaune as the hand made contact with his back. "Uhmm...sure?" He said, with a nervous laugh.

Duncan looked over at the blond. “Ah tis ok friend. I heard about you from your team. Your friend Pyrrha asked me to teach you somethings. The name is Duncan Freeman.” He held out his hand,smiling.

"Oh…..uhm….I guess that’s so…." He shook his hand, returning the grin. "Jaune Arc." Phyrra talks about me? "Nice to meet you, Duncan."

The man smirked.”Like wise Mr.Arc! Your friend Pyrrha said you needed help on your dodging and reflex skills. I am your man for that job!” The man pointed to himself.
