So, fun fact about Hollyleaf. I met one of the Erins back in like, 2013? I was internally freaking out, and the only thing I managed to say was something like "Hi. I like Hollyleaf." and I got hit with "oh I'm sure." #whatdatmean It was Gillian Phillip, so who knows.
Anyway, Kind of getting the hang of cats again. Kind of. I'm used to drawing men.
Hollyleaf has always been my absolute favorite cat, so she gets the edgy bangs I always drew her with.

To all my pet parents, friends/family of pet parents, shelter workers, and anyone else who is interested:
Chewy does a thing called Chewy Claus. It's a sweepstakes where you submit a wishlist of sorts for your pet, and they pick random people's lists to grant.
There's also an option for shelter workers to put a pet in their shelter ❤️.
Every entry, they donate a pound of food to Greater Goods Charities, and you can defer your entry and have them put it towards pets in need 🥺.

I know this is beating a dead horse at this point, but if I could write Hollyleaf differently, I would have directed her anger away from Leafpool and instead to the fucked up system that took everything from her mother.
Imagine the rage and anger she'd have, towards the clans, starclan, everyone who looked down on her mother for her choices.
Sure she'd probably be mad at her at first for lying to her and her brothers, but over time she'd realize that Leafpool had been treated so, so horribly and it'd break her heart. Leafpool gave up everything to please the people she loves, only to be shunned for it by her community and expected to take that rejection quietly.
It wouldn't be her own rage she'd feel, but her mother's.
