Wait for me, sunshine boy, I'll be back.

I’ve decided to cancel my automatic FFXIV subscription for now. I haven't been in a good MMO headspace for months now (basically an ugly combination of depression thoughts and a non-existent Eorzea social life resulting in logging in maybe once or twice a month). Keeping up this blog has also fallen to the wayside for over half a year, and right now it doesn't feel like I’ll be getting back to it any time soon.

In between all that and some surprise bills of late I figured that the subscription money would be best spent elsewhere. I'll look into gametime cards or something when things are pulling together again, but until then I'll have to make do without access to Tami'el's ongoing story (because I never did reach level 70, let alone catch up on the MSQ).

Meanwhile I’d like to thank all of you, followers, for giving this little blog your time and attention. I hope your adventures in Eorzea are as awesome as they can possibly be! May you forever walk in the light of the crystal, ~HyenaSloth

Surprise! We’re not quite dead! Just... slightly vegetative? Anyway, happy All Saints’ Wake to you~!

Man it’s been a while. Hope you’ve all been doing well! Things have been slightly crazy over here. I found a new job which gave me financial independence for the first time in, like, 5 years, so that was really good! Sadly it also meant that I had to work a lot of hours which left me with very little energy to play FFXIV, let alone edit and upload screencaps. I’ve basically been logging in for events and sometimes for friends and that’s iiiiiiit. I miss this game you guys, I haven’t even finished the first Stormblood MSQ yet, adult life is hard, yo（ｉДｉ）

With a bit of luck I’ll have more time to play and run this blog starting next month. Fingers crossed!
