I’m most certainly not complaining abt ppl focusing on Zanka being appalled/flustered/reluctantly intrigued by Jabber’s open expression of his masochism But we have to always remember that Zanka is blatantly an objectum ok. it is one of the first things established about him as a character. I think it’s fun to portray him as like “for fuck’s sake Jabber is being such a freak (why am I enjoying it tho?)” but we can’t forget that Zanka himself is openly expressing something that would be considered taboo, he’s just not rlly involving anyone else bc he just needs Lovely around. Jabber wants to get beat up by someone else so he has to seek out a fight. Zanka just wants to be with his beloved stick

that being said if someone were to point out “well you have your own thing going on-“ Zanka would deny it to no end. insisting his relationship with Lovely is not the least bit comparable to Jabber’s situation. and in a sense he could argue for how they’re different but he most certainly would be too defensive to form that argument and would just dig himself into a deeper hole

When I was in college, my Stage Craft teacher showed us this.  Basically the machine heats up a sheet of plastic, and once it’s malleable enough it’ll be blown up to make room for whatever you want to imprint in the plastic.  Once it’s in place, the air reverses and the plastic vacuum-sucks all around the object.  

He demonstrated it on a baby doll and it was like a baby had been frozen in carbonite.  I got to take it home and I still have frozen-carbonite-baby to this day (his name is Franklin XD)
