Why did you call it "modern people in tamriel" instead of "modern girl"? I mean I know it's more inclusive but the trope is typically used for women. Especially since most modern girl fics are associated with dragon age.

Fun fact! I was going to call this blog “modern girls in skyrim becuase “modern girls in tamriel” would probably have upset or confuse a few people because mgit already used for “modern girls in thedas” lmao. And also Skyrim was the only elder scroll game I’m actually familiar w/ but I felt it’d be too narrow to just use Skyrim. ALSO people don’t have to say “modern girl”. Look at the LotR fandom- they mostly use “tenth walker” instead of “modern girl in middle earth”. I know that most of the trope’s demographic are female but why not?? I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you weren’t trying to be rude or condescending, but not everyone that writes mgit stories are women. I’m not a woman and it makes me kinda upset I have to actually explain this???So tldr: its “modern people in tamriel” becuase I don’t want to flood the mgit tag when its already used for “modern girls in thedas”.
