Optimize Your Facebook Page for Graph Search
Facebook is pushing Graph Search out to more users everyday. While optimizing your pages for Facebook search is nothing new, updating a few areas of your page, mainly categories and keywords, will help your visitors find you more easily with this new feature.
Categories and sub-categories are often overlooked when a page is created but with Graph Search this attribute will become one of the most important elements of your page. Graph Search uses these distinctions to filter and index its results. So do yourself a favor and update your group, category, and sub-categories to accurately define your page. This can be done on the page settings tab. Also, note that local pages are allowed three sub-categories, so use them all!
Make sure the address is updated and correct. Not only is this important as a keyword, but also because users have the option to search for pages their friends like.
Again, Facebook uses keywords, so make sure your page's About section is riddled with them.
Spend a little extra time on your photos! Tagging your photos and adding a short description (read: keywords) can give your page more presence when users search for photos in certain locations or regarding a particular topic.

I created this splash page for Belle Petite a few months ago and I could not be more excited to be working on the new store front this week! Her full site will be launching soon and if you have any little ladies in your life, you will definitely want to check out the new collection.
This may be one of the most helpful tools available for budding social media managers. I had to figure this out piece by piece!

When choosing where to live, I think a good rule of thumb is: Elevation > Population.
July 4th :: New Chapter.
Well, it’s official. I put my notice in at Winter Park Resort and I am leaving my full time salaried job to venture off to yet another mountain range in search of bigger lines and deeper pow. While I’m sad to leave my team at WP, I am excited to connect with new industry professionals, further my career, and push my limits on snow. Here’s to new stories, a change of pace, and hopefully a better snow year than I just experienced in Colorado.
Next stop: Jackson Hole.
