Sometimes, we feel like we are all alone. Sometimes, we are in need of someone’s affection. Sometimes, we feel the need for acceptance. Sometimes, we just need a warm, tight hug.
A random hug from someone lightens up the day. For a moment, you feel that you matter, that you are important to someone. We crave for a hug because we miss the feeling of being cared, loved by someone. A hug from the ones we love is the best. Because we know that their love is whole and real. A hug is warm, we feel at home even if we are far away. A hug is something we can give to lessen someone’s pain, even for a while. You can also give it as a small thank you, to your friends, family, and loved ones.
Here’s a ghost hug, a virtual hug. I know you can’t feel it. But I want it to reach you. I want you to know that I am here. I care for you. Here is my small way of saying thank you for everything that you’ve done. Thank you for being there during the storms and during the lightest days. Here is something to tell you that someone out there, who loves you. With this, I tell you, you are not alone, that you are beautiful, that you are special. I hope this will help lessen your pain you have right now. I am here for you.
