Belated Valentines 27 Years (+ 1 Week) Later

Parallels between Beverly and Eddie that, parallels between Georgie and Eddie there… WHAT ABOUT THE PARALLELS BETWEEN EDDIE AND HENRY?!?!?

Henry and Eddie are nothing different than two different sides of the same coin. THAT IS WHY EDDIE KILLING HIM IS SO IMPORTANT TO BOTH OF THEM. I don’t mind Mike killing him, but Richie??? Like why???

Let’s back to the subject… Eddie and Henry couldn’t be more different, but yet shares so many similarities. Both are characterized by their abusive childhood that in both cases is defined by the emotional incestual relationship they had with their respective parent.

Butch doesn’t treat Henry like a son, but like a full grown man. He doesn’t hide his sexual life to him, he expects him to work for him, he doesn’t take care of him in any way, ecc… so Henry tries his best to fulfill that role and make his dad proud of him. And when that doesn’t happen he gets simply ignored or beaten.

Then there is Sonia, whose abuses I’ve already mentioned multiple times and plans to talk about them again. To summarize my other posts, basically she treats Eddie as a replacement of her late husband making sure he doesn’t leave her by being extremely controlling and by making him believe that he can’t live without her.

And that abuses reflect in how they act: Henry trying so bad to be that macho man his father wants him to be and Eddie having to depend on other.

Henry as an adult couldn’t keep up the act and Eddie was so sheltered from reality then both not being able to grow up.

I've just realized that I imagine Bill, Richie, Bev, Myra and Sonia to be all gingers. I don't know what effect has Eddie on gingers, but keep going ig.

Richie's hair would actually be auburn and Myra's/Sonia's strawberry blonde, BUT STILL EDDIE SURE LOVES SOME GINGERS. I know that red is your favorite color but calm down boy.

AND I ALMOST FORGOT THAT I HC BILL'S MOM TO EDDIE'S FIRST "CRUSH" AND SHE IS ALSO GINGER.
