Retire in Mexico for Year Round Nice Weather

As global warming rises, climate patterns change resulting in more extreme and unpredicted weather across the world – many places getting hotter, some colder.

For instance, the US and Canada are braced for potentially record-breaking low temperatures as a winter storm has already blanketed areas of Canada and the north-eastern US with up to 2ft (60cm) of snow.

Meanwhile, here at our residential community in the Riviera Maya, we are having some sunny weather with temperatures around 22C (71.6 Farenheit). The Riviera Maya is a tourist area lying on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico and it is famous not only for it´s s sun shining all year round.

The Riviera Maya climate is tropical but the actual daily temperature does not vary that much from the winter time to the summer time. Highs in the winter time are usually around 28C (82 Farenheit) with lows in the high 18C (64 Farenheit) to low 20C (68 Farenheit).

For that reason, the Riviera Maya has become one of the preferred destinations to retire in Mexico and a great investment opportunity in Mexico. Moreover, the New York Times recently demonstrated it’s investment value by covering the Riviera Maya real estate market in detail, focusing on Real Estate in Playa del Carmen.

This Mayan archeological site is located in the state of Campeche, Mexico, around 33 miles southeast of the City of Campeche.

The site is thought to have been inhabited from around 400BC to the 15th century AD. As with many of the Maya ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula, the reasons for the eventual abandonment of the city are unknown.
