“And what do we have here, hmm?” A flirtatious voice filled your ears, a pair of familiar arms wrapping around you from behind. “Were you by chance waiting for someone?”
You giggled and let your head fall back against his shoulder, neck twisting to look at him. In the upper corner of your peripheral vision, you could see the hanging tuff of green with bright red berries in the mix and an elegant bow tied to the stem. The plant hung from the arm of a tall lamp not much higher then the top of your head.
“Maybe I was.” You teased, turning in his hold. “I received an invitation in the mail this morning to a party at Favonius Headquarters, along with a note to meet someone in this exact spot. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that, would you, Captain?”
The wondrous blue in Kaeya’s eye seemed to grow brighter, a devilishly handsome smirk pulling at his lips. He twirled a lock of your hair around his index finger. “I might, but information comes with a cost, you know?”
“Does it now?” Standing on the tips of your toes, you kissed him. “How is that for payment?”
He chuckled, the sound like silver bells. “It’s a start.”
He smiled a raw, genuine smile as he brought you back in for another.

“What are you doing?” Diluc asked as he approached you, being careful not to make any sudden movements that would startle you. “Get down from there before you fall.”
“I won’t be long.” You replied, stretching as high as you could, trying to reach the chandelier. “I just need to tie the string then I’ll get dow-ah!”
The man was quick to catch you, setting you safety on your feet while the stool fell over with a resounding ‘thud’. The chandelier swung back and forth softly but was at no risk of falling.
Diluc sighed and gently plucked the item from your grasp. “You do understand what the meaning of this is, don’t you?”
“Of course I do.” You replied, dusting invisible dirt from the sleeves of your shirt. “How are we gonna decorate the tavern but not include a mistletoe? It’s a classic tradition and besides, I hear enough gossip to know several or your regular patrons have a thing for each other. Hang this up and you’ll be the Santa of romance this year.” You giggled. “You could add that to your resume under Darknight Hero.”
He didn’t look impressed, and to further show this, he crossed his arms. “The patrons will have to find their own courage to confess their affections. My concern is that you’ll forget it’s there and walk beneath it a dozen times.”
“Oh.” He wasn’t wrong - chances are, you would forget about it.
There was a pause, and then, his hand found your chin. Tilting your head up his lips covered yours, lingering for a moment before pulling away.
It took a second for your mind to catch up. “What was that for?”
He chuckled, moving towards the bar to finish what he started earlier. “You were standing under it.”

“You seem rather surprised.” The alchemist said, glancing up at you briefly before returning to his work. “What’s on your mind?”
Eyes wide, you looked around his lab. “Nothing, just wondering why your ceiling is covered in mistletoe.”
“Ah, you mean the phoradendron serotinum. Did you know these plants contain poison?”
“What?!”
Albedo nodded and set the glass dish down, removing the gloves he was using to handle the mistletoe leaf. “Yes, although not enough to seriously endanger somebody’s life. From what I can gather through studying the plant’s stem, leaves and berries, it should only cause an upset stomach if digested. Of course, that depends on how many plants are eaten.”
You didn’t know what to say. In all your years of life, not once had you ever heard of mistletoe being poisonous. You never have, but you’ve witnessed others in the past pluck the berries off and eat them.
“Okay, so mistletoe can make people sick. What now?” You asked.
“I’ll show my report to Jean and request a warning be made to the public. I don’t think it’s necessary to put a stop to the tradition completely. Speaking of, will you come here for a moment?”
You stepped closer, being careful not to touch or knock over any of the items on his desk. “What do you need?”
Leaning forward, he kissed your lips. “Merry Christmas, (Y/N).”

“My dear, are you feeling unwell?” Zhongli’s question caught you off guard, much so that you lowered your arms and turned to face him.
“No?” Your response almost sounded like a question. “Do I look sick or something?”
“No, you are as beautiful as always. The plant you are holding is one known for easing pain and curing illness. The ancestors of Liyue would hang them in their homes when in need of healing.”
You looked at the mistletoe in your hand. “Oh!” Laughing, you smiled and shook your head. “No, I’m feeling just fine. I didn’t realize mistletoes had a different meaning back then - nowadays, they’re common Christmas decorations and are recognized as symbols of love.”
“I see.” He crossed his arms, amber eyes closing as he thought. “Yet another practice has changed in the eyes of humans. When did this new practice occur, I wonder?”
Shrugging, you turned your back to him and finally put the plant in its place, just beneath the entrance to the kitchen. “I’m not sure. It’s been this way since I was a kid. My parents always insisted on hanging a mistletoe. In fact, my father proposed to my mother under one.”
Turning back to Zhongli, you placed your hands on his shoulders, stood on the tips of your toes and kissed him. He accepted you of course, one hand finding the small of your back.
You pulled back a little, smiling against his lips. “In this era, it’s common for couples standing beneath a mistletoe to share a kiss.”
He hummed, free hand finding your cheek. “Thank you for sharing this with me. Are there any other traditions I should be aware of?”

“Hey comrade, hold still.” Childe spoke directly into your ear, presence suddenly looming over you.
You rolled your eyes and a looked up from the to-do list in your hands. “What is it- hmmm.”
His lips cut you off, tongue easily finding its way into your mouth. You dropped the notebook and cupped his cheeks, back bending to accommodate the way he hunched forward to reach you. His kisses came with the fury of a blizzard, chuckle spilling from his mouth into yours.
Childe pulled away with a massive, cocky grin plastered to his face. “I got you.” He said, dangling a mistletoe above your head.
You playfully narrowed your eyes. “Are you trying to start a war?”
“What’s the matter, (Y/N)? You don’t wanna be my… mistlefoe?”
A loud groan left your lips, the palm of your hand touching his forehead and pushing him away. “You did not just make that joke.”
Childe laughed, shaking his head as he brought you right back to him. “Careful, otherwise someone is gonna think you have a resting Grinch face-”
This time it was your turn to cut him off with a kiss.

“What’s the point of decorating when you’re not inviting anyone over?” Xiao asked, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. “Won’t it just be more work to take it all down?”
Stepping away from the reindeer sticker on the wall, you dusted your hands off even though they weren’t dirty. “Maybe, but it’s worth it. The place looks cute and besides, I am decorating for someone: you.”
Xiao huffed. “This holiday is for mortals, not adepti. There is no need to go to such lengths for me.”
“It’s okay, Xiao. I want to.”
Going back to the box of decorations, you picked up the next one. Your hand stopped on an artificial mistletoe, one that’s been in your family for several generations. You smiled fondly at the decoration as you rubbed one of the leaves between your thumb and index finger.
Xiao appeared at your side. “What is that?”
“It’s a mistletoe. It’s probably just a coincidence, but every couple in my family who shared a kiss under it have been going strong in their relationships for several years now. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, they’re all still happily together.”
Looking around the room, you decided a nice spot for it would be next to the door. You strung it as high as your arms could reach, plopping back down onto your heels once it was in place.
“What do you think? Should I move it over more?” You asked, and when you didn’t get a reply, turned around. “Xiao?”
“Adepti don’t believe in things such as mistletoe blessings. We believe in our own power.” Tilting your chin up, he gave you a gentle kiss. “I will use my own power to make you happy, not some plant.”
Blushing, you nodded in agreement.

“(Y/N), come look at this.” Kazuha called for you from his place beneath one of the many trees covering the uninhabited island.
Abandoning the flowers you were sketching you skipped to his side, hand naturally slipping into his own. Your heart fluttered at the contact, giving his palm a light squeeze.
“Look.” He said, pointing up at the branches.
You followed his gaze, eyes landing on a cluster of plants. You didn’t recognize it. “What is that?”
“Mistletoe. It looks very different in the wild, doesn’t it?”
“Mistletoe…” You giggled. “Wild mistletoe on Christmas Day. What are the odds?”
Unfortunately, The Alcor suffered damage at sea and for the safety of everyone, the decision to dock was made until the crew could get it repaired. Sadly that meant Christmas this year wouldn’t be celebrated with family, but the most important thing was making sure everyone could get home safe and sound.
Kazuha turned to you, a lovely smile on his face. “Mistletoe kisses, Christmas spent on an island, my present to you.”
Giggling you leaned closer, meeting his lips halfway. A gentle breeze lifted the ends of your hair, wrapping around you with a few delicate snowflakes caught in the mix. Maybe Christmas stuck on an island wasn’t so bad.

“You’re giggling an awful lot over there.” Thoma’s voice came from the next room over. “You’re not trying to prank me again, are you?”
“No.” You replied, perhaps a little too quickly.
Another laugh threatened to escape but you bit your lower lip, trapping it inside. Dragging a chair to the archway of the kitchen you climbed on top of it, reaching up to tape the stem of the mistletoe to the top of the arch. It was a messy way to hang the thing but as long as it held, it would work.
You were grinning like an idiot as you jumped off the chair, pushing it back into its place. “Thoma, can you come here, please?”
Dashing under the arch you waited, chest bubbling with excitement as his footsteps drew closer. He appeared around the corner, a large red and green wreath in one hand. He must have been prepared to hang it outside when you called him.
“Is everything okay?” He asked, stopping in front of you.
Humming happily in response, you rocked back and forth on your heels, hands folded behind your back, trying to guide his eyes above you with subtle head movements. Looking confused Thoma titled his head a little, then finally looked up.
“Ah, I see. So this is what you were up to.” Chuckling, he shook his head playfully. Leaning the wreath against the wall, he took both your hands in his. “May I kiss you?”
Biting back a squeal, you nodded. Thoma dipped his head forward and captured your lips, sending your heart a flutter. You sighed happily against his mouth, pressing your palms further into his to feel the strength and warmth of them.
“You. Are. Adorable.” He spoke between kisses, pressing a final one to your lips before pulling away. “Is there any other mistletoe hiding around I should know about?”
“Maybe.” You replied, pulling your hands free and tapping the tip of his nose. “Better keep your eyes peeled.”

“Jeez, babe, could you pick a heavier tree?” Itto asked, stumbling into the attic with a twig sticking out of his hair. “I mean, it was no problem for me but the boys sure had a hard time.”
“Really?” You asked, smirking playfully. “I didn’t realize the gang was around. They’re welcome to come in and rest if they’d like.”
“Ugh, they’ve already gone home.” The oni laughed and waved his hand dismissively. “Don’t worry about them. The Arataki Gang is tough enough to handle a little manual labour.”
Your smile grew as you shook your head. He never failed to bring you joy. “Can you bring that box down from that shelf for me, please? And be careful! Those decorations are delicate.”
He did as you asked, easily lifting the heavy box of decorations from the top shelf. He set it on the ground next to you then crouched behind your kneeled form, watching over your shoulder as you sorted through the ornaments and other festive items.
“Heh, look at this little guy!” Itto exclaimed, lifting an artificial mistletoe from a box. “What is this, a hair accessory?”
A laugh escaped as he tucked it into your hair. “It’s a mistletoe. You’ve never heard of it?”
“Ohhhh yeah, I think I have. Granny Oni’s mentioned something about them before - something about people kissing under them-” He grinned. “Oh, hell yeah.”
You gasped loudly as your body was suddenly lifted off the ground. Next thing you knew you were laying stomach down on top of Itto, one of his arms wrapped around your back while the other hand held the back of your head. He wasn’t using any pressure, meaning you could pull away if you really wanted to.
Why would you ever want to escape his kisses, though? You couldn’t help but laugh into his mouth, fingers tracing his jaw as you returned the affection. The decorations could wait a while longer.

Shaking your head, you set the garland down. “I always have time for you. What’s up?”
His cheeks turned a soft tint of pink, ear twitching as he held out a tuff of green. “I found this when I was mountaineering this morning. I don’t recognize it but it has a lovely scent. I figured it would make a nice decoration.”
Blushing, you took the plant in your hand. “Thank you, Gorou. It’s lovely.”
He perked up, ears standing tall and tail coming to a stop. “Your face turned red. Ah, you must be allergic! Give it here, I’ll get rid of it.”
“No! No, that’s not it.” You said, clutching the mistletoe to your chest. “It’s just… this is a mistletoe. It has a special meaning, that’s all.”
“Oh, it does?” Gorou crossed his arms, eyeing the plant curiously. “What does it mean?”
Blushing even harder, you held the mistletoe over his head and leaned forward to peck his lips. Gorou went stock still, tail sticking straight up in the air.
You pulled back, turning your head the other way as you brushed a lock of hair behind your ear. “So… yeah.”
A high-pitched whine escaped the general. “Will you excuse me for a moment? I gotta go find more mistletoe.”
What I think Genshin characters would gift on Christmas (Yes, I’m a bit late but bear with me!) There are no implications for a romantic relationship so can be read as platonic as well

Venti: a song
This one doesn’t even need to be explained. Venti’s broke but he still wants to gift something to those who stand close to him. He thinks handmade gifts are the best anyway, so he doesn’t think twice before beginning to write a new song dedicated to you. Despite what you migh think, it’s not a meme, it’s an actual letter in which he explains how grateful he is that you’re a part of his life.
Kaeya: champagne
Turns up at your door on 24th. You’re still in your funky, Christmas-patterned PJs while you glare at him for ringing the doorbell for an unreasonably long time. He just grins at you and lifts his hand with a glass of fine champagne in it. ‘What about we drink this together?’
Diluc: a letter
He doesn’t turn up on Christmas Eve, thinking he would just bother you on this private day. But he does send a pretty postcard to your house and when you open it, your curious gaze meets with elegant, hand-written words. Diluc put the thoughts he normally never says out loud into a letter. It’s so unexpected and sweet that you can’t see a word through the tears by the time you finish the letter.
Childe: gym membership
At first you think it’s an implied insult saying you’ve eaten too much recently but before you can get angry at him, Childe quickly explains his intentions. He thought this would be a great way to hang out with you more since he goes to the same gym and as a professional, he can also help you there. In the end you decide to just laugh it off and agree that it really was a good idea.
Aether: neck pillow
If someone knows how painful and exhausting travelling can be, it’s certainly Aether. That’s why he bought you a neck pillow: so you can rest more while sitting on different vehicles. There’s one tiny little problem though: you don’t travel at all. You try to hide your confusion but he knows how you feel about the gift and points out a note on the wrapping. On the slip of paper, there are a few messy, handwritten words: ‘Because I think you should be with me more:)’
Zhongli: books
He knows people don’t read that much any more but he still thinks books are the best gifts. They contain entire worlds, incredible stories and things you can’t experience in other ways. If it was possible, he’d gift an entire library to you, but since he’s (as always) a little short on money, he could only buy one book. He spent days considering which one you’d enjoy the most and which one is the closest to him so it would be a heartfelt gift as well. And in the end, it comes out well since you’re one of those rare people who still love to read. You also appreciate the fact that he didn’t end up buying a book on fishing for you.
Gorou: blankets… and a lot of them
He has his tail to keep himself warm on cold winter nights but he can’t even imagine how you survive without having one. He thought he could solve the problem by buying some blankets. But well, since he’s used to purchasing for an entire army, he may have ended up with a little too many. Now be ready for a hell of a lot of sheets that will last till the rest of your life.
Xingqiu: theatre ticket
He’s not only keen on reading, recently he’s been getting interested in theatre plays as well. And well, because Chongyun’s too scared to go there with him (since that one time Xingqiu dragged him to a bloody tragycomedy that traumatised him forever) he has no one else to enjoy the play with. ‘Well? Fancy a threatre visit with me, my liege?’
Chongyun: cinema ticket
Same as Xingqiu. He has no one to go there with but he really wants to see a Christmas horror movie that’s been advertised everywhere in the last few months. He says he’d just be a little bored alone but you know that’s not the only thing that would bother him. ‘Me? Scared? O-of course not! But… You’re still coming with me, right?’
Bennett: a movie
Given his luck, he doesn’t like to go to crowded places. He still wants to see a film though and since he’s too innocent to know what torrent sites are, he bought the movie in a shop. Now he’s at your place setting the kitchen on fire making popcorn and being very excited about the first movie night you’re about to have together. While you try your best not to laugh at his raindeer themed pajamas.
Razor: cupcakes
As a foreigner in your country, Razor doesn’t really understand the concept of Christmas at first. But when Bennett explains it to him, he gets genuinely excited about it… just to get sad again, thinking he has nothing to give. In the end he manages to come up with a good idea though: he bakes cupcakes for his friends. You get the ones with sprinkles and you’re pleasantly surprised with how good it tastes. ‘Do you… like? Really? Razor is… happy.’
Kazuha: a cat
It’s the 24th of December and late at night when you hear the doorbell ring. You open your door carefully, expecting an intruder, then feeling relieved recognising Kazuha who’s standing in the dark corridor. You try to invite him in but he says he doesn’t have a lot of time. Then, instead of giving a longer explanation, he just hands you a kitten. ‘I know he’s going to be in good hands. Merry Christmas’ he says gently. You stare at the kitten in confused happiness. And the next time you look up, Kazuha is not there any more.
Thoma: dinner
Christmas means a lot of things to the peace-loving Thoma, but it mostly means that he can finally rest a little. So around these snowy, quiet days he doesn’t like to cook at all. He rather invites you to the finest restaurant in town and tells you you can order anything you want from the menu. You end up eating a lot of desserts, sharing them with each other while telling a lot of stories and laughing out loud, much to the snobbish guests’ annoyance.
Albedo: plants
He’s an enthusiast of both the life of humans and nature. So he finds it quite fitting to gift one to another: a plant to a human and a human to a plant. He knows you can take care of his plants and hopes his plants will take care of you as well.
Xiao: the snow globe
Xiao told you a thousand times that Christmas is just another weird mortal holiday to him. But that just makes you more determined to change his way of thinking! You try to make the period of Advent as enjoyable to him as possible with baking cookies, listening to music, skating and decorating the house. But that’s still not enough, and even though you really wanted to spend Christmas Eve with him, he just doesn’t turn up. You’re sad and disappointed… until you find a weirdly wrapped box on your table. Inside, there’s an adorable snow globe you two saw the day you dragged him to skate. Next to it, there was a short letter: ‘Sorry, Y/n, but I’d just ruin the day for you. Holidays really aren’t my thing. Merry Christmas to you, though.’
Scaramouche: a necklace
Unlike Xiao, he doesn’t just dislike Christmas, he genuinely hates it. He finds hypocritical all the happiness and peace it’s supposed to symbolize. He tells you not to buy him a gift but obviously you get one and give it to him on Christmas Eve. He gives you a deathstare while you grin at him. Then he gestures for you to turn away. Even though you’re a bit scared you do as he wishes and in the next moment, you feel something cool touching your neck. You look down to see a lovely, refined necklace. As you audibly gasp, he lets out a scornful snort. ‘I can’t be indebted to someone like you, you know? And, khm… Merry Christmas or whatever.’
Itto: an amazing day
You have no choice but to have him on Christmas Eve. He’s been excited about it for months and planned all the things you’ll do on the holidays with him. You’re a bit worried of what’s gonna happen but in the end everything turns out super fun. As childish as he is, Itto is a master of entertainment and his little games are genuinely amusing. You play multiple card, board and video games including ones you’ve never even heard of. Itto also brought an amazing amount of candy and Christmas-themed lollipop and you don’t even eat anything apart from sweets. You do wake up with a bellyache next day but Itto’s convinced it was worth it.

diluc—☆
the warmth of a fireplace and comfort of his arms
diluc is always on the move and so getting to relax in a cozy and calm atmosphere is always something that's on his mind
and he's not very fond of snow: it's difficult to tread in and the cold has never agreed very well with him as a pyro user
on super snowy days, you'll more often than not catch him in his father's old study sifting through aged books and manuscripts
or just sitting by the window and sipping on a goblet of grape juice (lukewarm, of course, chilled wouldn't be too good to drink during winter)
though, that was when he was single: now that he has you, things are a bit different :)
he's super fond of just sitting in front of the fireplace with you in his lap and a big blanket thrown over both of your shoulders
you and him don't even have to do anything, he's more than content to just hold (or be held by) you and relax in each other's arms
he's not above a cozy, snowed-in nap either (he emits so much warm heat that it's almost inevitable that you'll fall asleep in his arms)
play with his hair and he's a GONER (it actually lulls him to sleep quite easily)
diluc might even get a novel and share it between the two of you (he'll always ask first if you're ready for the page to be turned before he turns it)
but something he loves to do with you is play rounds of chess!
he's a big nerd (affectionate) when it comes to chess moves and will teach you how to set up these intricate chess strategies
even if you absolutely suck at chess, diluc will always let you win because he's a gentleman (and he loves seeing you do a little victory dance)
though, if you really plead with him, he'll indulge you and step outside the winery for a walk to enjoy the snow (if it's not up to his knees that is)
the winery is often surrounded by crystalflies that change with the season, so diluc will watch with a smile on his face as you run through the grapevines and try to collect as many cryo crystalflies as you hand
if you meet up with him somewhere during winter and don't wear gloves, he'll gently childe you, take your hands within his and blow hot air onto them (what a gentleman aaaaa)
his hands are very warm if calloused more often than not, so really you can just bring one glove and have him hold your other hand
overall: diluc largely prefers to stay indoors and enjoy the mundanity and simplicity with you :)

wintery surprises full of romance and a hint of childish wonder
kaeya always keeps those around him on their toes, and you're no exception!
the snow doesn't bother him, he makes the most of snowy days in his own way
but what stays consistent are the surprises that he throws your way!
you'll never know if you'll be spending the day indoors all comfy and warm, or outdoors in the snow until it actually happens
for indoor activities, kaeya can't help but spend every minute glued to your side
he'll shove furniture to the walls of the room, put a record on, and sweep you off your feet like a handsome prince (don't even get him started on his fancy footwork—he was raised by nobility and has to put those ballroom dance lessons to work somehow)
but in all honesty he just prefers to sway with your bodies pressed together impossibly close to a romantic melody while he peppers you with kisses :D
he'll douse all the candles in the evening except for one and sit beside you in front of the fireplace on piles of pillows and a shared blanket draped over both of your shoulders while he recounts ghost stories and tries to scare you (if it works he'll coo about how cute you are and pull you into his lap. if it doesn't work, welp it's time for scarier stories)
if you're heading out for the day, you're most likely headed to a frozen-over lake for some skating!
as mentioned before: he's gotta put his uppity nobleman ballroom dancing skills to use in something!
he's super graceful on the ice (he'll even use his vision to leave vapor frost trails as he twirls and dances on the ice for maximum elegance >:D)
if you're not great at skating, he'll tease you but also act as a great teacher in the process (though it's hard to learn when he's constantly leaving lingering touches and kisses on your skin any chance he gets, frickin tease)
if you're just out on a walk in the snow, kaeya will use his vision to make little sculptures out of ice (he'll craft a rose out of ice and hand it to you with a surprisingly sheepish smile, that's how you know he's down BAD)
kaeya's down for anything really, he'll always ALWAYS make the most of it!
albedo—☆
the scent of newly opened parchment paper and the taste of milk mustaches and warm smiles
albedo doesn't mind winter and snow all that much! he's used to dragonspine's climate, after all
not only that, but winter is just a part of life as anything else so of course he digs it :P
but albedo is more of the reclusive type and prefers to stay indoors anyways
he'll take advantage of the cold and run some seasonal experiments
but if you can coax him to relax, he fancies the mundanity of just sitting near the window with you and drawing your figure as you stare out at the falling snow
(he'll sketch you a lot just doing little domestic things: making tea/coffee/food, folding laundry, reading, anything really)
but, where albedo is, klee usually follows and keeping a little rambunctious girl inside can get very difficult
so more often than not, he'll take you and klee out to play in the snow (and catch crystalflies since klee really likes that!) :)
he's not super into the really hyped snow day activities like snowball fights but he loves to build snowmen!
klee adores when albedo crafts tree branches out of seeds with his alchemy and will run up with an armful to use on the snowman
he's so frickin attractive so effortlessly; he'll come behind you and guide your hands while you place decorations on the snowman if you can't decide what should go where
(klee asks you why you're smiling so much and it makes albedo's stomach just do a flip hehehe)
once home from your day of building snowmen and chasing crystralfies, albedo will pour the three of you warm glasses of milk and reluctantly agree to take part in the "who can have the best milk mustache" competition you and klee decided to start
but at the end of the day he's glad to do nothing more than just have you curl up by his side and sketch your beautiful face :)
childe/tartaglia—☆
the jingle of sweet laughter and prickle of frosted snow against one's cheek
mister childe tartaglia eleventh of the fatui harbingers absolutely ADORES snow
he grew up in snezhnayan blizzards after all, he's a bonafide expert in all things frosty and cold
that being said, childe will absolutely refuse to stay indoors if the snow is piled high and fluffy outside
how can he just sit around and do nothing when the snow's the perfect texture for making snowballs??
he'll drag you outside with that sneaky little smile of his for some winter fun :P
more than anything, childe loves sledding! and liyue isn't short of any death-looming hills, that's for sure
as much as you'll squeal and shriek in terror, the adrenaline that courses through his veins as you both hurtle towards the base of a large hill on his rickety old sled is all he needs (while you're screaming all the way down, he's laughing like a madman LOL)
he'll make little challenges to compete with you (who can make the biggest snowball, who can roll down the hill the fastest, who can catch the most snowflakes on their tongue, honestly with how much he loves both competitions and snow, the possibilities are endless)

childe is almost scarily good at sniping you with snowballs (you will lose any snowball fight with him, guaranteed)
not to mention that his competitive nature mixes quite well with any sort of battle between you two
he'll make fortified walls of snow and attack rapidly and ballistically (how the hell is he making so many snowballs so quickly??)
he'll apologize later, but not before rubbing his victory in your face (and it's highly likely that you've made a bet before starting your snowball fight, so he'll taunt and tease your loss in your face. you can shut him up quickly by kissing him though, it usually works)
childe will most definitely find a good sized lake and teach you how to ice fish!
he'll let you sit with your back against his chest and guide your arms and hands within his own with all the proper intricacies of ice fishing
and after you've caught your first ever ice fishing catch, he'll be sure to cook it up real nice for dinner :)
as much as childe loves being outside when it snows, the warm honey-glow of the inside of a house are also loved by him
he'll make dishes of the fish you both caught, and once dinner is over he'll brew two large mugs of hot chocolate and snuggle up beside you near the window to watch the snow fall :)

the sweet fragrance of herbal tea, crumpled pages of a worn book, and gentle crunch of snow under one's boots
zhongli thinks winter is a marvelous season: just not a season where he'd enjoy roughhousing in the snow like a certain harbinger (that is if he even really enjoyed roughhousing to begin with)
and snow is just as beautiful as it is treacherous
but snowy days allow for more days spent indoors, and days spent indoors meant more quality time spent with his beloved :)
zhongli loves nothing more than to brew a pot of tea and have you snuggle up in his lap by the window with a thick blanket around both of your shoulders
he'll have a good book ready and waiting, and he'll read to you in that sweet, silky voice of his
it's enough to get you drowsy and snoring against the crook of his neck, that's for sure LOL (his voice is so soothing hhhhh)
zhongli does still like to go out during winter!
he'll hold your gloved hand in his (and put your intertwined hands into his pocket for extra warmth) and just stroll around liyue and its outskirts while admiring the soft snowfall
he has knowledge of all the best spots in liyue with the best views of the snow; he's glad that you're just like him and content to walk around and enjoy the small things in life, like the gentle flutter of a snowflake as it falls towards the ground
adores seasonal markets!! he'll take you there and spoil you rotten with whatever you'd like to purchase (of course, he charges the bill to either the northland bank or wangsheng funeral parlor, but surely they can understand that his beloved darling deserve these presents won't they?)
even if you're not buying anything, zhongli finds comfort in just window shopping and admiring the quality of goods (though you might have to pull him away before he starts to haggle for another vase that you both really don't need)
zhongli isn't much for pda since he prefers displays of affection to be in more secluded places, but he's not above wrapping his arms around your waist and nosing your cold cheek or pressing kisses to your frosty nose to keep you warm if you're away from prying eyes
xiao—☆
the gentle hum of a lullaby, tender flap of a crystalfly's wings, and the soothing texture of thick, silky locks between your fingers
xiao isn't very fond of winter, the snow and bitter cold bring back too many horrid memories for him
with an entire nation to protect, there was never time for him to throw snowballs, make snow angels, or build any snowmen
he becomes confused when you talk about all these things, and admits that he doesn't go out much during the winter
but something xiao likes, come rain, snow, or shine, is admiring the crystalflies that gather near the inn
he's shy, and a little awkward when first asking you to come see the crystalflies with him, but you're already hauling on your boots and slipping a scarf around your neck
xiao's fond of the anemo crystalflies; all crystalflies hum a gentle melody when their wings flap and anemo crystalfies—in xiao's opinion—have the most beautiful melody of them all
but on snowy days, the cryo crystalflies tend to be more active but all in all, he doesn't mind
he'll let you hold his hand with bated breath, and if you're kind of a klutz while treading through the snow, say no more! xiao will walk backwards, hold your hands, and let you walk in his foot imprints
asides from crystalfly watching, xiao doesn't particularly like to go outside during snowy days unless danger is present
but now that he's donned the title of your lover, he's found that your embrace is even more of a reason to abandon the snowy outsides
there's nothing more he'd rather do on a snowy day than lay in your arms and let your fingers card through his locks while you hum a gentle lullaby
you makes him feel at peace and he forgets all about the bitter cold outside :)

the melody of a tender flute, frosted fingertips, and ballads bathed in snow
kazuha thinks winter is absolutely beautiful: it's calm, quiet, and simple
much like his love for you :)
kazuha's got jittery feet: he's usually on the move or preparing to go somewhere, so it's likely that he'll prefer to be outside in the snow
he'll bring you along with him on his snowy adventure, wandering to nowhere in particular
even if you're just stopping to admire the view, you'll feel his breath fan along the skin of your neck as he recites flowery words to perfectly describe the scenery before the two of you
though he's not one to take part in super childish and rambunctious activities, kazuha does like when snowflakes fall onto the tip of his nose
he likes it even more when he can burn the image of you with a snowflake on your nose into his brain forever and ever so he'd constantly have something beautiful to look at
he'll search for a peaceful, secluded clearing, and pull out his flute to serenade you with gentle melodies (and as much as you'll tease that he's acting like a suave romeo, his beautiful playing and sly, alluring glances undoubtedly have your knees weak)
to the melody of frosty winds, kazuha will take your hand and lead you in a soundless waltz
if you coax him into making snow angels, he won't exactly object but he'd be confused about it (please explain it to him!!)
but eventually it just becomes him staring up at the sky with you laying beside him and holding his hand
the peace and tranquility of winter is so much better when the warmth of your hands trickles up into his heart :)

childish innocence and the softness of his heart hidden behind a mask of indifference and hardened scowls
while the persona of scaramouche dismisses the snow as a hinderance, kunikuzushi can't help but be enamored with the beauty of it all
in his youth (or perhaps better referred to as "early days of his creation"), kunikuzushi was allowed only an hour of time outdoors before he was to be called back in
and he loved going outside to chase butterflies and catch crystalflies and weave crowns out of tiny delicate flowers
but, most of all, he loved when snow blanketed inazuma
the servants knew to bring him in after an hour, but he was always sure that they spared him an extra ten minutes because the sight of him frolicking around in the snow was worth any sort of punishment they might receive
he loved snow angels and catching snowflakes on his tongue! and if he looked carefully, he could spot fluffy white birds hanging on snowy tree branches and he'd spend lots of time chasing them
when brought inside, the servants would wrap him warm in a blanket and present a hot cup of a sweet, honeyed liquid that made his insides all gooey and warm
but that was a long, long time ago
now, whenever scaramouche looks at snow, he feels a sense of longing which slowly morphs into self-directed disgust
snowy days make him grumpier than usual, and as much as you'll try to reach out to him, he shields himself behind an impenetrable wall
but if you're patient enough and can manage to sit outside his room with the promise of love and a steaming mug of honeyed milk in your hands, he might just emerge from his room (with lots and lots of coaxing)
at first, he's much more inclined to stay inside
which is no problem for you! you've got out board and card games, books, and tons of blankets
scaramouche is generally a haughty man full of hubris and arrogance, which usually carries over into the most trivial things like board games (he will go ALL OUT to win and sulk if you beat him hehe)
he doesn't seem too thrilled when you suggest simply cuddling by the fireplace, but the moment he indulges you and you've got his head in your lap, fingers in his hair, and a blanket around your shoulders, he's in heaven
slowly but surely, he comes to not hate winter as much as he used to (even if he partakes in your indoor winter activities with grumpy mutters and scowls, but still snuggles further into your embrace and lets a sliver of a smile pass whenever you do a victory cheer after crushing him in checkers)
so when you finally suggest that he try just a brief walk in the snow, he'll only be slightly disagreeable but let you dress him in his winter clothes regardless
the first steps outside are obviously hard for him: despite the agitated snarl on his face he's obviously struggling with putting one foot in front of the other
but when you take his hand and offer him a reassuring squeeze and gentle smile, his body eases up
and soon, when he thinks you aren't looking as you've gone to check something out, if you glance back over your shoulder:
you'll see the beautiful sight of a fluffy white bird on scaramouche's gloved finger, and a gentle smile with lidded eyes etched onto his face
dainsleif—☆
the simple desire to keep your warmth close, and the gentle threading of fingers through one's hair
dainsleif is all too familiar with snow: he's concluded long ago that there wasn't anything special about it
the first time he encountered snow was his first year alone in a new world that didn't welcome people like him
khaenri'ah was a barren land with no seasons, so the unfamiliar weather was both frightening yet intriguing to him
but after experiencing far too many snowfalls to count, snow has lost the beautiful allure it once had for a sinner like him
enter: you
when you entered his life, you also brought the beauty back into it
flowers that appeared dull were brought back to life, the sky seemed less grey, and the air had never smelled sweeter
even winter began to appear mystic and wonderous in his eyes
but dainsleif loves nothing more than to hide himself away from the outside in your arms
despite being a bit of a giant of a man, he'll silently ask to be kept within your arms all bundled up near the window so the both of you could watch the snow fall in peace
when your fingers rake through his locks and skim over his face—now free of the inky, midnight mask—he falls silent and does his best to maintain a straight face despite the rosy blush that engulfs his cheek and neck
he'll plant his ear firm on your chest to listen to the melody of your heart tremble under your skin
dainsleif will be so relaxed sometimes that he'll even fall asleep wrapped up in your arms (and though your tailbone might be numb when you get up later, it's all worth it)
dainsleif isn't much for sweets, but he'll indulge you and make sweet cups of hot chocolate to warm your stomachs
though the outside looks beautiful, he'd much rather stay indoors and let go of the hardened mask he's had to adorn for so long
in your arms is the only place he can ever truly relax
thoma—☆
the hustle and bustle of a busy streetmarket, gliding of ice skates, tingle of snow angels, and heat of his palms within yours
thoma loves winter! especially snowy days!
to be fair, there's not much thoma doesn't like since he can always find a rainbow amidst stormclouds (sweet angel-)
it's even better when you're beside him too, after all he loves good company!
he'll take you to a nearby seasonal market for some shopping! he hasn't got too much mora to his name, so don't go picking out anything fancy!
but if he can afford and it you want it? done! it's all yours :)
majority of the time spent at the market with you is filled with him draping various cloths and headpieces onto you in a sort of "mini fashion show"
despite the fact that you and him probably couldn't afford even half the things he had put on you
thoma would never admit it but it makes his insides all gushy when you present a little gift to him in return (but he will tell you how much it makes him feel appreciated and pepper lots of kisses all over your face)
as much as he'll tease you about accidentally falling on the ice (and won't help you up the second time since apparently "you have to learn"), thoma isn't that graceful on ice himself
drag him to a frozen over pond and he'll try and clamber away from it
but if you do manage to get him on the ice, least to say: it's a spectacle
he's clumsy and awkward and often falls right back on his behind, but he'll still wobble over to you and drag you onto the ice himself so that you can be wobbling, clumsy messes together
when the snow is piled and soft, thoma loves nothing more than to lay on his back and make snow angels!
the kamisato residence grounds are often covered in snow angels when thoma is assigned to clear the snow away from the paths
he'll take your hand and have you lay down beside him, hand-in-hand to make snow angels
and when you finally do get up, he'll coo at how your snow angels are holding hands :)
thoma is all over indoor activities too!
he really has no preference and admires both either way :)
but what he loves to do indoors is some organizing (after all, you can't just wait until spring to get in some cleaning!)
reluctantly, you'll aid him in sorting through files for the kamisato siblings, or just tidying up your shared house
but he's not above some holiday baking either :) thoma makes the most delicious sweets and when indoors, he'll guide you by standing with your back pressed to his chest and his hands layered over yours as your roll the wooden rolling pin back and forth over the flattened dough
(he's a tease, what can i say?)
cupcake frosting on your lips? not for long: he'll use his thumb to wipe away the sugary frosting and pop it into his own mouth (curse you thoma for being so freaking attractive-)
but at the end of the day, thoma just wants to drape his arms around your waist and do any kind of activity that you're in the mood for: whether it's going out and laughing at him when he falls on his butt on ice for the 5th time, or mixing cake batter and talking about anything and everything in your cozy kitchen
itto—☆
the pitch of a snowball, bubbling laughter, and the softness of an oni's heart
the man, the legend, the menace himself, the one and oni: arataki itto
itto prefers to be outside regardless of anything: if there's perfectly good snow that needs to be played in, how can you expect him to sit still indoors all day??
he usually gathers up all the inazuman street children and his gang helps him organize a fun day of snowy activities for everyone
he'll even drag you into it somehow!
the children absolutely adore him and think him a big brother figure for them to play with, so of course they're down!
but itto's most favorite snowy activity of them all: snowball fights
he has to pull his pitches when he throws snowballs (because he's sure if he actually threw with all his strength he'd accidentally snipe a little kid and knock them unconscious) but he still has so much fun regardless!
but, of course, it's itto we're talking about here
it wouldn't be itto's thing if he weren't insanely competitive!
he's drawing up plans in the snow for his team with a stick (if they're doing team snowball fights)
he'll craft bunkers out of snow to conceal their plans and try his best to speak in an authoritative military voice (he'll mimic kujou sara at this point)
keep in mind: he's speaking to a bunch of kids who probably have no idea what the heck "ballistics" are
he also INSISTS that you be on his team even if the numbers are wonky (he'll make a kid go to the other team just because he wants you on his, even if you scold him for doing that after)
but hey! he's a pretty good leader and because of him is his snowball team able to achieve victory (he's seen inazuman soldiers kiss their s/o upon returning from battle and does the same with you by dipping you low and pressing his lips to yours, even if it makes all the kids are you go "eewwwwww")
if we're talking about individual snowball fights? oh man
itto won't stop until you're the last person still not hit by his snowballs (he practically fires them like a canon)
he can't bring himself to hit you with the snowball because you're his precious baby who he loves so much and would never want to hurt (his words!)
so, instead, he'll admit defeat and let you throw a snowball at him to claim your victory (all the kids cheer because itto has beaten them in snowball fights for FAR too long)
he'll sulk for a little but if you treat him to some dango and snacks he'll perk right back up and insist that you sit in his lap and feed him (big baby-)
gorou—☆
the swish of his tail, glimmer of played-in snow, and toothy smiles filled with joy
the general of watatsumi island usually spends his time trying to uphold his image and earn the respect of his comrades
but, during snowy days, gorou can't help but let his authoritative persona melt away
look at all the snow! it's perfect to go outside and play in: but he'll still be hesitant because he doesn't want to risk looking childish in front of you
but it's hard to hide his desires when his tail is swishing back and forth when he looks out the window, ears perked up and all
so when you discreetly mention that the two of you should go outside for a walk in the snow, he'll do his best to mask his elation but there's no denying his swishing tail
the minute you step outside, gorou's already bounded towards the snow and dove in headfirst
all the composure and effort he's taken to maintain his dignity has all but disappeared as he pulls you by the arm to dive headfirst into a freshly mounded snowbank
he'll apologize right after realizing, but cut him off with a snowball to the face or a kiss and he'll hush :P
he'll burrow himself all over the snow and pop out with his hair, ears, and tail looking like they'd been dusted over in powdered sugar
snowmen!! gorou loves building snowmen, and he'll make snowmen that look like his comrades too (there's a little kokosnowman that you helped craft that looks a bit too much like a snow fish-)
he's not above wrestling in the snow too! he's a fifth born son and grew up roughhousing with elder siblings, so he's used to duking it out in the snow
but because you're his lover and he would never dream of accidentally hurting you, it's more of you and him rolling around in the snow and him letting you take charge of the "wrestling" match
by the time you're both satisfied with the fun you've had today, your cheeks and noses are cold and your entire bodies are caked in snow
but with how happily his tail is wagging as you head back home, it's most definitely all worth facing the cold

The snowflakes descended from the sky, landing on the window sill and melting against the wood, but that is not where your attention lied. Your eyes darted between your lover’s eyes and the doorway you both got caught under, ribboned green leaves adorned with red specks swaying gently above you.
“Look, mistletoe.” You smiled, cheeks burning at what the tradition called for. A giggle came from your lips just at the thought of kissing the person who you loved the most.
When you looked into the eyes you had so deeply fallen for, you felt the world come to a halt around you.
A light blush tinted his cheeks, eyes lidding timidly as his scarlet red orbs bore into yours. His bandaged hand traced shapes on the back of your hand, luring you closer and closer against him body, into his hold. His eyes flitted close when his lips joined with yours in a loving kiss.
Kazuha kiss was like a wanderer’s earning, a travellers curiosity as he explored the feel of your lips against his, moulding your lips together. His lips parted yours, the flavour of cinnamon coating your tongue through the kiss. It felt like walking through a forrest, inhaling the scent of maple leaves whirling in the autumn wind, your body warming regardless of the cold surroundings. Like a samurai’s sneaky footstep, Kazuha didn’t shy away from taking more from the kiss, teeth softly grazing your lip momentarily.
Kazuha kiss was desire. A desire to roam the seven nations with you, explore parts of the plains and mountains that you haven’t seen before. He wants to experience every enthralling sensation with you. The heart of him that used to fear being tied down to a place was so glad to find you. You were home for him. No matter where in the world, if the two of you were together, then he was at peace. For the one who had lost everything, you were the one person who brought that dying light back in his life. He was ready to devote himself to you completely, all of him being at your mercy.
The kiss broke with a small pop of your lips, crimson cheeks adorning both your faces as you snuggled into him, staring at the snow falling outside the windows.
“I love it when it snows. The world falls completely silent…and I can enjoy a moment with you like this. Feeling your warmth and your heart beat… it brings me peace. I love you, Y/N.”
His hands encircled your body for he was too eager to feel you close to him, his emerald eyes cheeky but sincere. Your merry squeals and laughs were put to a stop when his lips collided with yours in a kiss, so delicate and passionate at the same time. Feeling your arms wrap around his shoulders and tangle in his hair had his heart beating a mile a second.
Thoma’s kiss was soothing and warm, like the rays of the sun falling against your skin on a cold winter morning. The contrasting temperatures made you sigh and hug him tighter, as if you were in the embrace of the winter sun itself. His lips skated along yours the way the sun rays would bounce off of piles of snow, kissing you with bubbly desire, nothing you can’t expect from a joyous person like him.
Thoma’s kiss was the expression of his devotion and infatuation with you, to the point where he cared about you more than himself. If he was able to make you smile and laugh, then he had done his role as your lover. For a housekeeper like him, he’s always busy with his work, but he promises that he’ll always make time for you, a moment for lovers to share together, because no one matters to him the way you do. Thoma was ready to do anything and every thing for you, because you make him happy and you make him feel special. Your love is what encourages him to face every day with strength and vigour.
He was not willing to part from your lip until you laughed and begged him to let you breathe. Even then, he hugged you tight, not letting you escape from his loving clutches.
“I, Thoma, give to you my weapon and my loyalty, and I promise to fight for you, always. Because I love you so very much!”
Gorou’s puppy ears twitched and tail wagged rapidly when your fingers grabbed his cheeks and pulled him closer, lips a mere breath away. He took the initiative and pushed his face forward, pressing his lips to yours with a surprised hum. His arms grasped you tightly, almost lifting you off your feet as you giggled into the kiss, slight vibrations making his heart shiver happily.
Gorou’s lips were like the affection of a puppy, so bubbly and bright. Every ounce of his child like excitement flooded your senses, the touch of his fingers wrapping you in a tight hug, the sounds of him whimpering, the taste of the tons on candy canes on his tongue. He truly was a little baby, your little baby. But more than the playfulness, his kiss held loyalty to you. His lips played with yours, parting and colliding like two eager puppies enjoying their time together. Don’t mind him if his tongue dips in to run along yours.
Gorou’s kiss was a pledge to protect you in the heat of battle, no matter what. You were his everything, the brightest star in his life. You were more important than his own life, he was ready to offer you himself if you ever asked for him, no hesitation. In the battlefield, above everyone else’s voice, he will always hear yours and follow your sweet voice, leading him to you.
He whined like a kicked puppy when you drew away from the kiss, catching your breath softly. When your eyes met with his sky blue eyes, Gore felt like he was falling in love with you all over again. His ears perked up and tail swayed as he dug his nose in your neck, breathing in your aromatic scent.
“We train together, eat together, and relax together. There's no better way to strengthen our bond. That being said, wish to share a hot chocolate, Love?”

The snowflakes descended from the sky, landing on the window sill and melting against the wood, but that is not where your attention lied. Your eyes darted between your lover’s eyes and the doorway you both got caught under, ribboned green leaves adorned with red specks swaying gently above you.
“Look, mistletoe.” You smiled, cheeks burning at what the tradition called for. A giggle came from your lips just at the thought of kissing the person who you loved the most.
When you looked into the eyes you had so deeply fallen for, you felt the world come to a halt around you.
Zhongli’s hand glided up your arm, reaching your face to brush away any stray strands of hair before holding your face like fragile porcelain. The smile that rested on his lips was tender, making your heart elate at his presence. He leaned down to whisper a fond kiss against your lips, his eyes, like glittering orbs of citrine, fluttering close behind his dark lashes.
Zhongli’s kiss was a story, written in calligraphy across coffee coloured pages. The words interlaced with his infatuation with you, each sentence formed to perfection in conveying to you his deep love. His kiss was like a storytellers tale of two lovers, an immortal being falling head over heels for a mortal. Each sigh, each gasp, expressions to show you how deep in he was, his lips savouring every second of contact with yours. The way a story teller emphasises his words with his varying tones, Zhongli’s lips danced along yours in ever changing paces. Sometimes his lips would recite a slow poem on your lips whereas other times he would devour your mouth in a passionate kiss, quoting an intense chronicle.
Zhongli’s kiss was a contract between two lovers, to share every moment together, be it the good ones or the bad ones. A contract to never be secretive, or hesitant around each other. He sealed your contract with multiple meaningful kisses, lips whispering your name like a chant.
When he pulled away, his eyes seemed brighter, the way they would shine whenever he told you a tale from his past over a cup of tea. He grabbed your hand and lifted it to his lips, giving a kiss over your knuckles.
“Contracts cannot be used to measure sentiment. But I suppose there is no way to measure my love for you, for it has no bounds and can not be confined to finite terms. That being said, I love you Y/N.”
Childe chortled and threw his head back in exaggeration. His eyes, the colour of ocean waves, glistened with a teasing shine as his fingers grabbed your chin to tilt your face up. Jokes aside, his eyes swirled with deep feelings for you.
The tug he gave to your face was merciless, smashing your lips together in a fervent kiss.
Childe’s kiss started out slow, like the beginning of a battle when two warriors were taking a moment to study each other, read each others movements and pick out their strengths and weaknesses. It was like Childe could read you like an open book, already skittishly running his tongue over your quivering lower lip. Like fighters on a field, he had no care of who was watching, only intent of completing this dance with you, lips moving in sweet tandem against yours. He could feel you ever so softly go limp against him as he continued to defeat you with his peppering, hot kisses.
Childe’s kiss was a promise between comrades, between lovers. A promise that each step of the way, he would help you grow and better yourself and he wished the same from you. He made an oath to protect you with his life if it ever came to it. A promise to show you his weaknesses because there is nobody in the world he trusts more, or even as much as you. You were the person he wished to take back home to his family, so that they can accept you as his family.
Your fingers ran along his jaw, pushing his face away so that you could take a break from that passionate kiss, but even then, Childe didn’t stop pestering you with butterfly kisses fluttering all over your features, his hand finding yours and giving a squeeze of reassurance. For the first time, he enjoyed being grounded.
“The world looks glorious in the snow. Pure, like the light of the moon. But you? Nothing could compare to you and the love I feel for you.”
His amber eyes were blown wide out of proportion. Public displays of affection never really suited the boy, but seeing how this was tradition, who was he to go against the rules?
His shaky hands reached up to caress your cheek, nervousness radiating from him. Despite that, he leaned closer, parting his lips to hug yours. At the connection of your lips, any and every ounce of tension flew out his body.
Xiao’s kiss is like a honeyed dream, fading into existence the way his unsure lips slowly get used to the kiss. A dream for which he would close his eyes and give into to slumber, a dream from which he never wants to wake up from, if it meant he could kiss you forever. Your lips gave him peace, he felt free from his karmic bonds when you nuzzled closer to him, chest to chest.
Xiao’s kiss was pledge to you, to always protect you from the monsters that may be lurking in the shadows. As a demon conquer, it was his duty to safeguard the lands and as your lover, it was his duty to shelter you. Be it monsters trying to harm you or nightmares making you cry at night, he’ll share your burden and ward of any evil spirit haunting you. He wants to do that for you, the person whose mortal ways brightened up his world.
Breaking the kiss made him hiss in irritation, him not wanting to part from you in any way at all. So he kept his arms around you, staring at your face with a blank expression and seeing you flush under his gaze. If only you knew how bad his heart was thrumming right them.
“It's too late. The connection between us is too strong. I love you too much now. If you ever need me, don’t hesitate to call out my name. I’ll always be there for you.”

Albedo smiled softly, taking half a step closer to you until all that covered your sight was the teal blue of his irises. His fingers tweaked the fabric of your sweater, distracting himself from the growing blush on his cheeks
He leaned closer, nose bumping against yours until he tilted his face to perfectly seal your lips in a kiss.
Albedo’s kiss was like an inquisitive stroke by a painter against a blank canvas. A painter who was learning the texture of the paint and vessel, just the way Albedo acquainted his lips with yours. He pulled away to tilt his head, changing the way he approached your lips, sketching another delicate kiss to yours sweet lips. His lips tenderly stroked yours, temporarily painting his love on you.
His mouth experimented against yours, learning the way you respond to the way his lips seeked out yours eagerly.
Albedo’s kiss was a display of his curiosity in you, the one he loves. He wants to learn everything about you, from the way you breath rapidly to the way your fingers curl in his jacket. He wants to know what makes you happy, so that he can always see your beautiful smile grace your features. He wants to know what makes you feel blue, so that he can keep those things away from you, preventing any negativity from staining your life. He wants to know all of you, and he wants you to know all of him, revealing all his secrets to you, nothing hidden between two lovers.
You detached yourself from him, leaning your head against his shoulder as you giggled light heartedly. Albedo tilted his head to gaze at your blushing cheeks and your cupid bow smile, admiring you the way an artist would worship his most prized painting, taking in your breathtaking beauty.
“You look especially happy right now. Would you mind if I sketched you, my Love?”
Diluc’s gloved hands reached up, pad of his thumbs brushing over your crimson cheeks as his fingers tickled against the side of your neck. You giggled softly and leaned into his touch, gazing into the Carmine red of his eyes that seemed to grow bigger as he reduced the distance between your faced.
Losing yourself in the moment, your eyes fluttered close, fingers skimming over the lapels of his blazer and leaning into him, until you felt his lips touch yours.
Diluc’s kiss was like a freshly lit candle; a small flame flickering and gradually growing. His lips initially hesitated against yours, but as the fire starts spreading down the wick and stands confident, he too felt secure in your embrace. Like a delicate candle, Diluc’s lips were warm and comforting, making you melt into his arms that wrapped around your waist to hold you closer against his chest.
Diluc’s lips brushed over yours with a gentleness that was able to convey his deep admiration for you. A tilt of his head to deepen the kiss and a tug to your body, to express the love he has burning inside him.
Diluc’s kiss is a promise to you, that even though he’d turned his back to the rest of the world, he’d never abandon you. When the rest of the world had left him cold and shuddering, he knew that your embrace and love would always welcome him, and he hopes that you can find home in him the way he had in you.
When he parted from your lips, he growled under his breath, suddenly aware of the audience in the room. But when he caught your soft smile, the world suddenly disappeared once again, the only thing he could focus on…was you.
“Y/N…I love you deeply. Whatever it is that you ever wish for from me, I shall do everything within my power to bestow it upon you, for you deserve nothing less.”
Kaeya smirked and chuckled heartily, sharing the same excitement you were feeling at that moment. He wiggled his eyebrows, sapphire eyes glimmering in the Christmas lights. One arm looped around your waist to jerk you closer while his other hand grasped the doorframe behind you, for support.
His lips collided with yours with a satisfied gasp coming from you as you relaxed against him.
Kaeya’s kiss tasted like dandelion wine, a little bubbly and tingling as he generously poured his emotions out against your lips. Like a true wine connoisseur, he knew the perfect blends to express himself. The sweetness of the dandelion, to display his pure affection for you and the bubbling taste of the alcohol, a tingling that showed how passionate and excited he was for you, around you. The delicate bites to your lips felt like the cold cubes of ice floating in a glass, piercing but enjoyable. Like wine does to a person, your cheeks started heating up into the kiss.
Kaeya’s kiss was a vow to you, to always accompany you in your journey. Never would he give you the chance to feel even a smidge of loneliness. He’ll be there for you whenever any dark thoughts come to your mind. And of course, he will stay by your side through the good times, be it getting drunk and dancing in the tavern or strolling across the snow laden paths of Dragonspine.
He didn’t want to be away from you, he couldn’t get enough of you. When the kiss slowed down, he still leaned forward to faintly graze his lips against yours, until you grew bashful and stuffed your face in his chest. A laugh rumbled through him as he embraced you tightly, uncaring of the audience you had.
“You know, being by your side on this journey might just be the most fun I've had in my whole life. I hope it stays that way, forever. Just you and me. Love you.”
Venti giggled and pulled you closer, one hand on the small of your back and the other grasping your fingers in his, as he swayed you from side to side, in a slow dance of yours. He quite enjoyed these small moments with you, hearing you pure titters. His azure blue eyes practically sparkled, reflecting the lights hung all around.
When he went in for the kiss, he caught you by surprise, enticing a little squeal out of you. Such is expected from the cheeky bard.
Venti’s kiss was playful, like a breeze on a spring morning. Like the wind sweeps along the leaves with the most delicate of caresses, Venti’s lips brushed against yours with a similar innocent tenderness. Like the wind comes and goes, Venti’s lips ticklishly stroked your repeatedly, like the way your heart was pulsing in our chest. The kiss had underlaying hints of alcohol, the bubbly flavouring the kiss with more sweetness, as if just his wholesome affection wasn’t enough.
Venti’s kiss is a song against your lips, a tale of how a little wind spirit such as himself had fallen so dearly in love with you, the human for whom he’d call for the winds in the four corners of the earth. His kiss expressed his desire to spend the rest of your days together, from the moments you wake up to the yawns right before you fall asleep in his hold.
Breaking the kiss was like taking candy away from a child, Venti pouting and whining when you pulled away from him. But all meaningless sounds coming from him ceased when you laughed melodically, pressing one last kiss to his stunned face. And out cracked a dopey grin.
“Right now I wish I was sat at the top of a tree, looking out over a meadow with you by my side as I sing ballads of my love for you, Y/N.”

He pulls you in for a hug, one arm tight around your waist and the other behind your head. “Please don’t” he whispers. “I don’t have anything else,”
He’ll become a shell of himself if you disappear. He’d look for you, but he’ll shed tears every night.

May I please ask for headcanons for Childe, Diluc, Kaeya and Zhongli reacting to their 4 yr daughter calling them by their real name please?
CHILDE would be a little caught off guard at first - he actually kind of prefers it when his baby girl calls him dad, daddy or any other cute nickname she can come up with. She probably heard the name Ajax from their other parent and it kinda just stuck. He places his darling baby on his lap and coos "You don't need to use that name, I'm your dad after all!" while s/o is most likely just watching from the doorway, an amused smile on their lips.
DILUC looks stoic as per usual but upon closer inspection you can detect the slightest raise of his left eyebrow. His confusion is gone in a flash and he quickly picks up his baby girl and calmly tells her to just call him dad. He doesn't really like it when his baby is being so formal with him, it's strange. He loves his daughters goofiness, he really does! Nothing brightens his day more then to come back from work and he can hear the happy cries of "Daddy's home!" from his adorable princess. He is the king of the house and his little girl is the princess.
KAEYA just chuckles and probably cares the least out of everyone here. He just ruffles her hair and continues on with whatever he was doing, while occasionally throwing a few playful glances her way. Kaeya might actually start teasing his daughter a bit if she starts calling him "Kaeya" more rather than "dad". He won't respond to her shouts or questions until she starts calling him "dad" again, all the while he has the biggest smirk on his face. Even at that young age, his daughter can tell that her dad is just a massive troll that gets a kick out of teasing her. She still loves him very much, even if he is being mean!
ZHONGLI probably stops whatever he was doing and just looks at his girl before cracking a sweet smile. Dearest, where on Earth did she hear that name? He says nothing as his baby daughter gurgles at him, pulling his hair gently and chanting his name non stop for the next few hours. Zhongli doesn't have the heart to tell her to stop, she's just too cute!! His little princess could probably paint his face entirely and he just would not care. If she's happy, he is happy.
