XiaoLumi but also DainsLumi because imagine just being there watching over her every step of the way. There's no way this isn't even SLIGHTLY romantic :(
So I watched Gundam Hathaway with my husband today.
If you like angst and don't care about being spoiled about Gundam movies read on. There was this one particular angst scene that I really liked.
Long story short this guy, Hathaway, is sort of leading a terrorist group against the Earth's government. He is part of a group called Mafty and is basically Mafty himself but only select people know this.
When the movie starts, Hathaway has a strained relationship with Kelia, his girlfriend, who is also part of Mafty and is the main reason why Hathaway joined Mafty. The movie also suggests that Hathaway is enamored by a new girl called Gigi but from what I understand, that's not the reason why Kelia and Hathaway fell apart.
Hathaway and Kelia sort of have a disagreement where Kelia asks "Do you hate me now?" and Hathaway says something like "This matter is more complicated than me loving or hating you," which is a non answer, but to me thats basically like telling her to leave him alone.
Then Kelia places herself on her own mission. One of their team members, Julia, tells Hathaway "Kelia told me not to tell you, but this will be her last mission. She plans to leave Mafty after this."
Cue Hathaway running after Kelia's car in the rain as it drives off. (He doesn't catch up to it and never speaks to her again)
The flashbacks in this scene while Hathaway is running after the car and the cinematics of it is the one that I really enjoyed.
You basically see how Kelia and Hathaway meet. At a bus stop. They look younger. It flashes through what seems to be a series of moments where they genuinely love each other. Hugging, smiling etc. And then the longer the flashback goes the more you see Hathaway getting more and more engrossed in his role as leader of Mafty. Kelia starts to get lost in the background. She watches from afar most of the time, and basically kinda loses the Hathaway she used to know, replaced by a Hathaway who is obsessed with his leader role.
Kelia stuck with Mafty because Hathaway was in it, but when she realized this wasn't the Hathaway she loved, she left. Without even telling him. They went from love to asking "Do you hate me now?" And for some reason that really struck a chord in me.
There was a bit of a punch as well when Hathaway looks inside the fridge in his room, seemingly looking for something. Then his friend comments "You're not gunna find any curry in there anymore, Kelia orders those for you," implying that Hathaway takes her for granted.
I thought it was very interesting. I consider myself as someone with a lot of experience but I never really understood until today what it meant when people broke up because they changed, or they weren't going in the same direction anymore. In my mind I always feel like breakups happen because there's a third party, this was a perfect example of how people can just grow apart instead of together.
Hathaway basically went where Kelia couldn't follow anymore.
“O-Oh,” him saying it out loud served to embarrass you even more. His hands were still round yours on the flowers and you pull them away back to your side. “I still…somehow find that hard to believe,”
“Understandable,” he agrees and drops his hands to his sides. “But let it be known that I would utter no falsities, specially concerning my feelings. I am, after all, the God of Contacts,” there’s a bit of jest in his voice, as if trying to ease the tension.
It works and you glance over him with a slight smile playing on your lips. “So…you could have those statements written into a binding, genuine contract?”
“Which part exactly?” he tilts his head curiously.
“The one about how you felt some sort of attraction to me?” something blooms in your stomach and comforts you to speak up. This giddy feeling dancing around in your chest and threatening to burst out. For the first time in a long time, things feel right again.
Zhongli lets out another chuckle, “Without a doubt. Certainly,”
Sending your Genshin boyfriend a spicy photo of you while out for dinner (Genshin Male Character x fem!reader)
Warnings: not proofread, suggestive, swearing, minors should not interact, is it considered SMAU cause they don't really have phones in Teyvat? Error in Itto's one, can't be bothered to change it. Xiao is fuckin cute, idk how that happened
Rerir x fem!reader while still respecting Rerir x Tholindis
Angsty idea
Rerir only has eyes for Tholindis. She was his past, present and future, even in the hands of death. Tholindis was all he ever thought about, all he ever fought for.
And then there's you, the newest apprentice of Nefer and the latest employee of The Curatorium of Secrets. Of course, Nefer wouldn't take just anybody in. You have a certain affinity towards kuuvhaki and have discovered that you're able to rewind your actions and experiences exactly 10 seconds back in time.
"It may not seem like a lot, but she essentially has the ability to change outcomes and reassess her steps, provided that she acts quickly in her 10 second window," is what Nefer said when she caught wind about you.
Spoiler for current Archon Quest
While out on an intel gathering trip for Nefer, you stumble upon a small box with a ring inside. Seeing as it was in the middle of nowhere, you decide to keep it and only really inspect it when you get home. It's an aged ring, with a sort of deep purple gem in the middle. Something compels you to slip it onto your ring finger and as soon as you do the air splits in front of you, as if a hole appearing out of nowhere.
You've unknowingly opened the moon gate and there on the other side is a white-haired man, ominous in appearance, black bandages wrapped almost all around him, you could only really see one crimson eye where a flash of surprise crosses.
In the next second, the gate closes, the man is nowhere to be seen.
Instinctively and almost immediately you hone kuuvahki into sending you back in time a mere five seconds, when the gate was open. Your arm reaches in, hand makes contact with the man's bandaged arm and with all your might pull him out of the moon gate and into your room.
You fall backwards onto your bed, the man, sorely out of place in your cozy house, sprawled on the floor.
Rerir had abandoned all thoughts of revenge at this point and had already bid his farewells to Tholindis through Columbina. So when he realizes he's back in the realm of the living, he's painfully confused.
You're none the wiser. You have no idea who this man is, only that you thought you needed to save him from that sad looking place.
"...I'm sorry but how did you open the moon gate?" You jumped when he spoke up. Not exoecting a rather gentle voice from his...monstrous looking persona.
"I didn't, it just, happened,"
It was then that he recognizes the ring on your finger. The same ring that he had prepared for Tholindis for their engagement but never got to give her. He's too stunned to speak, but you've already started to offer him your bathroom so he could "freshen up".
"Do you not see how I look like?" Rerir started. Surely you weren't being kind to someone who looked like trouble.
"...I don't judge people by their looks... A beautiful, well-kept lady could very well be a murderer in disguise,"
How ironic that statement was and how it reminded him of his old predicaments with Tholindis.
Before he could even say anything else, Nefer is at your door, with Lauma and Columbina behind her. Something about a shift in kuuvahki energy originating from your house.
Rerir is detained, but he doesn't resist. You on the other hand, was brought up to speed on who Rerir was, along with his terrible deeds.
To say you were surprised was an understatement. It was also a complete mystery (at this moment, at least) how you were able to pull him out of the gate.
Days later after Columbina and the others had assessed that Rerir has, in fact, no malicious intent nor passion for revenge anymore, she releases him into the living world under the condition that he is watched. The decision was made under strict scrutiny, this was someone who had caused a lot of trouble after all, but if there was anyone who understood the importance of giving second chances, it would be your group of friends and Nasha Town.
Of course, that task was put upon you (and under secret supervision by others). You were the reason why he ended up back here after all.
You learn that this isn't an easy task. Despite not having a thirst for revenge he is still tainted with abyssal energy. Something that he has to learn how to control. On top of that, his presence in the living realm seems to stir the Wild Hunt even more, and, curiously, the Wild Hunt seems to be following YOU around. Later, you find out that they're attracted to the ring, not you. However, no matter what everyone tried, the ring would not budge from your finger. Columbina thinks it's the malicious energy inside anchoring itself to you.
"In that case it's best that you let me know when you're leaving town on an assignment. It's safer if I go with you," is what Rerir said, genuinely believing that you had given him his chance to repent for all that he had done.
Rerir, however, had the habit of falling into the ocassional depression and bad moods, brought by memories of his past and burdens of his actions. He lashes out at you one day, hurling accusations about how you had made his life miserable, that you should've just left him in the quiet of that void. There was nothing left in the living world for him, no Tholindis, just pain and hatred. Before he could lose control over his abyssal energy, you step 10 seconds back in time, right when you were about to knock on his door.
You instead turn away and leave on your assignment without him, opting to ask Flins to accompany you instead.
For reasons obvious to you, yet not to others, you continue to avoid Rerir up until he himself seeks you out.
"Have you not been given any tasks these few days?" His appearance had changed drastically while trying to live a normal life in Nasha Town. Gone were the black bandages and gauntlets, replaced by mundane looking clothes that made him look like a scholar instead of an adept fighter. He now kept his long white hair in a bun.
You're unsure how to answer him, for it would be easy to ask around and find out that you indeed were going out on tasks without him. However, remembering that you were supposed to be responsible for him, you decide to answer truthfully.
"I've been out on a couple, I had someone else tag along,"
The confusion that breaks on his face is readable. "You could've asked me,"
You stay silent for a few seconds before carefully replying "...there were days where you weren't in the mood..."
Rerir's eyebrows scrunch up even more, then the tension in his features releases and turns into realization. "You used time reverse,"
By no means was he stupid. He could put two and two together, albeit it was a little cryptic.
"Gods, did I hurt you? Is that why?" He dug his palms into his eyes, attempting to hide his frustration.
"Mm, no, not in the way that you think, at least," you left out the part where you think he was on the verge of it.
"Oh... Oh, that's good, I guess," he sighs, now moving one of his hands to rub his temple. "Listen, I--" how was he going to say that he would like it if you were just honest with him. When his previous life was built out of lies, honesty was so much more important in this one. "If I cause you any harm then by all means, please protect yourself," he started. "And... maybe this is strange to ask of, but I'd rather you don't hide it from me if I do. You don't have to protect me from that guilt," He seemed to take in a huge amount of air, as if lacking the courage to say his next lines but blurting it out anyway. "I promise I'll use that guilt to become better, I won't let it tear me down anymore,"
You meet his eyes of silent determination, you're not sure whether to be in awe or to pull away from the split second of attraction you feel.
"You don't have to promise me anything... I'm not..."
Tholindis
The phrase isn't finished, but the heavy silence that followed fills it in for the two of you. You clear your throat after a moment, changing the subject as soon as you recover. "Uhm, but, I'll try, anyhow. Not to hide things, I mean,"
You hope the heat on your cheeks isn't visible.
He takes it, and eagerly replies "Great! Then come find me whenever you need help,"
and that's where my brainrot ends.
What possible scenarios could we have for this? Feel free to share your ideas!
An arc with Rerir realizing he has feelings for reader and pulls away because he feels guilty for "abandoning" Tholindis. Meanwhile reader is in a life or death situation because of Rerir standing her up last minute, not having any protection from the Wild Hunt.

Finished playing through Nod-Krai Act 1 to 6 in one sitting.
Brainrot for Flins and Durin incoming:
EDITED: Changed some facts in number 4
1. Fell in love with a Zombie/Undead trope. Reader finds themselves appearing in Wild Hunts and keeps on getting "killed" by Flins, only to reappear again in another Wild Hunt area. Over time reader manifests their own face (wild hunt monsters dont have faces) and Flins recognizes reader as someone he has "killed" before. Reader wants to find out why they arent able to pass to the realm of the dead and is instead stuck in Teyvat as a "zombie". Seeing as reader is an anomaly of the Wild Hunt, Flins feels responsible to help. Somewhere along the way they get attached to each other and instead of helping reader to find a way to cross over to the realm of the dead Flins is conflicted and tries to find a way to anchor reader to the living world instead.
2. Stuck as an inanimate object trope. In some twist of events, Flins gets stuck in his own lantern. He's unable to turn back into his humanoid form and begrudgingly goes a few days as a lamp. Luckily Varka comes looking for him after Flins doesnt show up to their meeting place. Varka knows just the person to help Flins out. Enter reader, expert on cursed artefacts and haunted objects. Reader needs a couple of materials to peform a lamp "exorcism" and she ends up venturing away from nod krai with flins the lamp just to get these "ingredeints". They form a bond along the way and at long last she performs the correct "exorcism" method and Flins pops right out of his lamp in his humanoid form. Unfortunately, due to some leftover abyssal energy in Flins' lamp, reader is now tainted with abyssal energy on account of helping Flins, and passes out right after the "exorcism" is finished.
3. Shy boy x outgoing girl trope. High school AU. Durin is the new transfer student, and as the outgoing and popular class president of your sophomore class, you take it upon yourself to get him integrated into your school. He's a little quiet, shy and awkward which makes him an easy target for upperclassmen bullies. One day you run into him being cornered by a bunch of seniors and you bravely step in to protect him, telling the seniors to pick on someone their own size/age. Durin is embarrassed but also very thankful. Fast forward to a few weeks later its your turn to get badgered by the SAME upperclassmen, Durin is the one who runs into you this time and he braves his way into protecting you. Once it was all over he turns to you, all flustered and says that he'll protect you to the ends of the Earth.
4. Durin/Albedo/Scaramouche x reader Reverse Harem. Durin was a fictional character created by Andersdotter (Mage M) in the story world of Simulanka, thereafter Albedo gave Durin a human body. Albedo is a synthetic human created by Rhinedottir. Scaramouche is a puppet created by an archon. These 3 have much in common, humanoid beings that were created and not "born". In the plains of Nod-krai reader awakens and seems to be able to find her way to Nasha Town. In her tattered clothes, Durin finds her and is unable to turn a blind eye to the fact that she clearly needs help. As the Nod Krai gang helps reader, they realize that reader doesn't have or doesn't know her name. She instead tells them the only information she knows about herself "I am a synthetic vessel, made human by my creator Master Dottore, my serial number is 1633" Scaramouche nearly kills her then and there, only to be stopped by the others. Later on they find that reader is a discarded experiment who managed to survive and Albedo volunteers to watch after her. Admittedly, Durin is also interested in helping her, seeing as he is also currently learning about the world, he thinks they can learn together. Scaramouche comes to terms with the fact that she isn't loyal to Dottore but still keeps his guard up and doubts a lot of the things she says, until one day where she saves Scaramouche from a significant Wild Hunt attack. So yeah just a story where 3 guys are interested in the reader.
Which ones your fave and what would you add/change?
I think I haven't logged on since Nod-Krai came out, so that's quite a long time!
I also wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
Months ago I also said that I would have my second book out by now, but lesson learned, writing isn't that easy when you have a full life with a toddler (She's grown up so much and understands everything much more, as a parent, it's really important that I'm there to guide her every step of the way!) but also, admittedly, I haven't been into writing these few months.
Whenever I DO get the muse for it, I'm either too busy or somehow sick (like I am right now, ugh!)
but life is beautiful everyone! I hope you are all doing ok!
Warnings: not proofread, pining, it’s pretty long and fluffy
Notes: I decided to combine this with the volleyball AU (but it pretty much still reads a lot like a highschool AU) I just wanted to get the whole volleyball team over haha. @diaflower I’m sorry this took so long D: All I’ve been doing is apologizing for taking such a long time HAHA Im so sorry!
More Genshin Volleyball and Modern AU here
Check out @simplypotz beautiful rendition of the Genshin Volleyball Team (I’m still not over it btw)
#1 Zhongli (Captain/Wing Spiker/Ace)
Zhongli is that quiet class president who does things by the book.
The type where his report card comments would read “Able to strike a good balance between academics and school activities”
Overall a good role model, though he comes off as standoffish most of the time because of his detached personality. In reality he’s just really concentrated on the things he needs to do.
You’re in the same class as him. You just didn’t interact much, mostly because you also thought he was pretty standoffish. He didn’t speak, only when spoken to.
As usual November and Decemher roll around and it's like I don't exist on this platform anymore. Hahahaha! Rest assured I am here but man these are busy months!
Admittedly, I also haven't played Genshin in a while. I haven't even stepped into Nod Krai.
Hope everyone is doing well and advanced Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!
You've had the BIGGEST crush on Tartaglia ever since you saw his band play at the school festival. Charming smile, friendly to everyone, cool and a great drummer. It was definitely God's will that you ended up in the same class.
One day you overhear one of your classmates boldly invite Tartaglia up to the rooftops of the school. You, being the nosy person that you are, secretly tail them. There, the girl gives a letter to Tartaglia, clearly a confession.
Your breath gets caught in your throat. Had you lost your chance? As you peer through the glass panel of the rooftop door you see Tartaglia say a few words and the girl looks dejected. As Tartaglia leaves the rooftop you quickly shimmy into a nearby classroom, ducking right under the square glass, out of sight.
A few moments later, you peek out and the coast is clear. You heave a sigh.
"What're you doing?"
You jump at the voice, swerving around to find that you're not alone in the classroom.
Scaramouche has his arms crossed, boredly looking at you. It looks as if he already knows the answer.
"Checking if you still had a chance with Tartaglia?" A smirk plasters itself on his face. Your face heats up.
Scaramouche was the guitarist in the same band as Tartaglia. Last you heard, he was fresh out of a relationship with the prettiest girl in your class.
"None of your business..." you mutter, preparing to slide the doors open to escape.
"You know... Tartaglia and I spend a lot of time with each other,"
You stop in your tracks, not knowing why Scaramouche was sharing this obvious information with you.
"You're in the same class as Eleanor right?" He adds the name of his ex and you turn to finally meet his gaze.
"Yeah...?" You whisper.
There's a moment where the two of you just look at each other.
A silence that was almost deafeaning.
"Here's the deal..." Scaramouche relays to you a shocking proposition. "I help you get to Tartaglia, you help me get to Eleanor,"
"What?"
"You heard me,"
You toss the words around in your head. You don't quite get it.
"If we pretend to be with each other, it gives you an excuse to visit the band room as much as you want and I can visit your class as much as I want. Get it?"
"...Sort of..."
"It's human nature to want things or people that are considered "off limits". In no time, that'll draw both their attentions on us and Eleanor's bound to get jealous I moved on too fast,"
The guy clearly has some issues with his relationships and views of it, but you admit it sounds tempting.
The only problem is, you've never been in a relationship before and you didn't know how well you could pretend.
"I don't know..." you hesitate, rubbing your arm.
"I know every possible thought that crosses Tartaglia's mind, this could be your only chance to get into his head and win him over,"
You stay silent.
"What have you got to lose, really?" He scoffs.
He's right.
What's the harm in trying?
"...Deal,"
Worse freaking decision you've ever made.
No one could ever anticipate that you would, after the pretend dating scenario, actually fall in love for Scaramouche instead of Tartaglia.
So what then when the plan works for Scaramouche and Eleanor finally decides that she wants him back?
I defaulted to my favourite male Scara 🙈 and favourite love triangle. I'm sorry not sorry.
