I like to think that Cliva is a couple who went through overcoming life's difficulties before Broppy. As a result, they reached mutual understanding and openness in their relationship earlier.

But what if Clay and Viva are at the same stage of their relationship as Branch and Poppy were during the World Tour? Clay is in the friend zone and doesn’t know how to confess his feelings to Viva. Or the other way around: Viva wants to open up about her feelings, but Clay is too deep into his "serious boy" image.
