TaRin whY OF ALL THINGS.
You have noticed what’s wrong here, right? He’s the oldest of us all and he Lords it over Sherlock and I like crazy. Apparently, because I haven’t found my element to excel in yet, I’m not good enough to be his own sister.
I’m going to take that umbrella and shove it up his- Never mind. He’s probably already tried that.
I'm sorry, darling. When I see a problem, I want to fix it. Your brother is no exception.
It's to be expected from the firstborn. If you had been born in his position instead of him, your personality wouldn't be as decadent as it is now. There is certainly nothing wrong with you. He simply has a superiority complex but it shouldn't be superior over your mindset.
Tell him for me that if he's still using the curved handled one, that can go horribly wrong if he's not careful.

….far too many to count we’ve fallen back on progress. Not that our time should be spent dealing with such matters of course.
Mycroft has yet again voiced his many opinions about me in far too much detail. I was this close to strangling him with the table cloth.
Oh, Mycroft. I hate to say it because he's your brother, but he's likely spent more intimate time with that umbrella of his than anyone lately. I should show him how to use it properly. He'd be nicer for you to talk to.

Hahaha as if, you’re a good ten ahead of me surely~
I’m only teasing, you know I love you really. And catching up is hardly a problem, I may have had a tiny head start earlier this afternoon….family lunch and all that cannot be survived entirely sober.
It’s a possibility... but I’ll need you to help me dry up the bar.
And I love you really too. You’re my sunlight. Bright and outrageous. Tell me family wasn’t too much. I offer free therapy if it was. No brother issues are there?

Oh lordy me….This calls for drunken comforts indeed. I’m on my way. Us elders must stick together in these trying times~
My dear, the day you become an elder, I will give up on humanity. You have four glasses of cabernet sauvignon to catch up to and a fifth is on its way.
(new message) You called me an elder! I’m barely out of my twenties, darling. You don’t have enough alcohol to see clearly

I have no power over 21 year olds anymore. The bartender didn't check my ID and now I feel excruciatingly old. Join me in inebriation?
“I’m not glowing, shaddup.”
Greg spluttered at the words, cheeks reddening as he stumbled a little, losing his footing and having to grab at Tarin to make sure he didn’t face-plant the ocean. He straightened after a moment, face aflame.
“I– I’ve honestly never heard that before.” He remarked awkwardly.
It was impossible not to be amused, even if Tarin meant every morsel of the incorrigible behavior. Teasing the detective was precious to watch, particularly when it was so transparent how much effect it had. His feet quickly rooted themselves in the drenched sand the moment he became a physical support for Greg. "That's not how I imagined I'd sweep you off your feet, darling," he murmured with pleasure in his tone.
His hand had reached over to hold the one against his body, even after Greg regained his footing. Tarin's impish smile couldn't pass as innocent if he had a halo over his head, but he still tried as his face drew near his companion's. "Not a single person has called you a good dancer before?--I believe you'd make a spectacular one. If you had the right partner, of course." Green eyes swayed over the flushed complexion, admiring it. "You're 'not glowing' quite a lot, my dear."
My muse has only a few days left. Your muse has a choice. Kill them, let time pass and let them die when they should, or sacrifice your muse for mine to live. What would your muse do and say to/for my muse??
A small thrown adorned his forehead as he observed the male as he spoke. A sigh fell past his thin lips. Nick knew that the comment was meant to offer him some comfort, but if anything it frustrated him. He didn’t want a ‘part of him’ he wanted all of him, he wanted to be loved by Tarin once more. So his words served more of a cruel reminder that his love was no longer returned. Nick’s eyes darted down to see Tarn’s fingers wrap against his own.The touch kindle those fantasies and longings he had in his mind for the past months of them getting back together. He pushed the thoughts to the back of this mind, he knew that it wasn’t possible, despite how much he craved for it.
He breathed out, his hazel orbs softened lightly as he looked back at the man. With a small nod he faked a soft smile in an attempt to hide the pain. “I have some free time, so I don’t see why not. Might be nice to have a proper catch up.” He said softly.
Of course there was a hideous feeling of guilt entering into his heart. He didn't pick up and leave relationships to be malicious, and it was rare for him to get a taste of the aftermath from a partner that was as caring as Nick. His thumb began to sway over the back of the man's hand he was holding, watching his face, hearing his sighs, trying to make amends. Tarin's lips quirked up in a returning smile as the invitation was accepted. "I wouldn't mind listening to you more than myself."
His hand didn't release, drawing it between their sides instead as a step was taken forward to the nearest bar. "Believe it or not, I always had a weakness for your voice. It wasn't just the accent, but that was a nice draw." His black hair was threaded through casually, brushing it off his forehead in the pause before turning his face towards his. "Did you have any plans tonight? What brought you out tonight?"
“You’re incorrigible, you know that?” Greg chuckled lightly, rolling his eyes and letting Tarin pull him along.
“Clubbing?” Greg snorted out a laugh, shaking his head. “Good luck with that”
"You have to say that it keeps you young looking." His eyebrows had risen, looking over his shoulder to throw him a grin. "Look at you; you're glowing thanks to my incorrigible nature."
"That's doubt I'm hearing." Tarin's knees were being gently swallowed by the ocean. Keeping his fingers around the other's wrist, he turned to face him properly with a tilt of his head before parting shameless lips. "Detective Inspector... Have you heard that people's perception of how good a dancer someone is becomes an indicator of how good they'd be in bed?"
Looks like I have the whole day to myself, so starter call?
Bonus: anon me a random word and I’ll create a starter based around it!
“Oh shove off.” He chuckled, smile widening a little at Tarin’s attentions to him.
Again, much like before, he hesitated. He looked at him, looked at his hand, and then actually smiled as he took it.
“Alright, fine.”
Tarin had to laugh with a smile reemerging in an impish fashion. "Luckily, I have a very vivid imagination just in case you don't reward me for my charm next time."
Greg's smile was mirrored on the other's face, wrapping his fingers firmly around his hand before tugging him along. "The second you're in the water, I'll need to come up with a new challenge. My heart is leaning towards clubbing."
Send me a really dirty phrase and my character will have to figure out a way to say it in a professional setting.
My character has stumbled upon a magical mirror. However, instead of showing their reflection, it shows what they'd look like in an alternate universe! Send me a verse and I'll describe what they see themselves as in said verse, and their reaction to seeing it.

Greg couldn’t help the slow smile that pulled at his lips. He glanced away, smiling towards the ocean as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his shorts.
He wasn’t ashamed of his scars; quite the opposite; he was glad he had them. He’d never really got past the fear of being judged because of them, though. Knowing that Tarin had seen them and essentially didn’t give a damn made him feel kinda good.
“Thanks…”
"Ah, I finally get the sweet smile with the little crease," Tarin began to grin with a thumb lightly rubbing over the addressed spot on the other's cheek. "I can only imagine what I'd get if I tried to be charming."
Green eyes swept over him once before getting to his feet in a light bounce, a hand left outstretched to the same man. "You owe me more than ever to see what you look like drenched, now. I will pick you up if it must come down to dirty tactics."
He hesitated upon seing the roll of his eyes, taking a deep breath before he lowered his arms. It’s fine, he told himself, nobody will care.
“Why are you proud of me?”
His head tilted, not the kind that came with curiosity but the type that accentuated the idea in his eyes that the answer was obvious. "Because I'm not an unfeeling, cold-hearted bastard? Not yet, at least."
"My dear, it doesn't take a detective to tell when someone is self-conscious. But you chose to be everything you were meant to be in spite of whatever dreadful, little voice in your head is telling you to cover up from me and who knows else."
