Buy me a ko-fi if you like my spreads. Shoot me a message to give me a spread prompt. Tags: Seasonal Spread (time of year specific), Situational Spread (for certain things you may be facing), Check In Spread (General and can be done at any time to get in tune with yourself/others), Meme Monday (meme spreads), relationship (spreads based around other people + you), mine/not mine (self explanatory), tarot talk (asks sent in), reader talks shit (misc).
This is the cheat sheet I use when looking through my own blog. It doesn’t use the categories my tags use because it’s my blog and I can do what I want.
The (#) is how many cards are in each spread.
Any that begin with “meme” is just an indication you’re about to open a meme tarot spread.
I figure I haven’t updated in awhile but why not fix up this resource for myself and post it.
The tags listed in my bio still work obviously and anything that isn’t mine that I reblogged isn’t in this list.
If this isn’t the kind of energy you were thinking let me know. If you want to greet your home these are the questions I asked my previous place after my welcoming ritual.
Also if anyone was curious, Google drawings doesn’t have an app I guess and I didn’t want to grab my laptop so I made this one on Google slides which is why the background isn’t “supposed to be transparent” checkered like my other ones. Very rude of the apps.
Hello 👋🏼 I'm newly into tarot and I really want to learn more, do you have any suggestions on what to read or watch?
Hello!
Honestly I got into tarot watching a friend do it for awhile and feel like its more intuitive/simple than a lot of people make it. I'm a big fan of biddytarot website for card meanings, otherwise I honestly don't have much in the way of informative suggestions unfortunately
@bmannkoopa But you could also just modify my New Years Spread to be for a weekly thing if you’re looking for a broad horoscope view or this one with a similar prompt.
The person with whom i m in relationship now, is he good for me? Why and for what is he in my life. What is in his heart for me, what he thinks of me? Should i be in relationship with him? What is the outcome if he stay in my life and what is the outcome if he go? Does he have a real love for me? Is my love also pure and true real love for him? What he will teach me as in life and what would i will teach him? What purpose he have in my life and what i have in his?
This is meant very kindly, but I feel like sometimes you guys don’t realize how easy making a tarot spread can be. This is the opposite of the nonspecific anon I just answered.
You’ve done it! You’ve come up with the core questions you want to ask your deck, there’s nothing more for me to do but potentially arrange the cards.
You could do these all as one card pulls over a period of time. You could lay them out in a straight line. You could also break up these 14 questions into little mini spreads for yourself. Or you could make it into a shape that makes sense for what you’re feeling. I know it can be daunting to make spreads yourself (and that I’m a little late responding to this one), but it doesn’t have to be hard! You’ve done the hard part! Have faith and ask your cards now.
That’s pretty nonspecific but I have a lot of potentially relevant spreads in my relationships tag. Let me know if there’s a gap in what you want vs what I have.
I did this as five different one card draws when I was greeting my new home about a year ago but it also works as a good spread to use when speaking with new gods or spirit guides.
Hey, I’ve got two questions I’m really interested in knowing the answer from someone who knows more. 1) Does it matter where my cards are from? Are there such thing as fake or dud cards? 2) When I shuffle my cards, sometimes some of them are upside down in my spread unintentionally. Should I read them as reverse even if my spread doesn’t specify that they should be reversed, or should I draw another set or something along those lines? Thank you!
1- I don’t think it matters where your cards are from. I do think that sometimes certain decks vibe or don’t vibe well with you. I know my first deck was actually my friend’s deck and they just could not read with them at all. They had gotten another deck and read fine with that but that first deck they got didn’t respond to them so they let me mess around with it and they worked great for me. But where you get them I don’t think really has an impact on that. Buy them, ask a friend for them, make your own painted onto playing cards. Just try to bond and see if you will vibe.
2- I like reading reverse! I think adding reversed meanings really opens up more possibilities for my deck to read me things. That being said, lots of people don’t read with reversed and when they come up reversed just read it as if it were upright. If you want to only work with uprights that fine. If you get the vibe having a reversed hard in a certain position means you have to redraw a card, you could do that too.
Happy reading <3
My decks are very physical and I think being in front of them are important to my readings. If you look up tarot on Tumblr you’ll find lots of people offering, be kind to them and let them know how well the reading turned out/how accurate it felt.
Hi ive got a question! I recently started out learning tarot and dont even have a deck yet. When shuffling and doing irl readings, how do you select the right cards, and how do some come out reversed?
There’s a few ways. When I got my new deck I did something I called ‘mixing the cards’ which is where I stared my friends dead in the eye and dropped the whole pile and then just sort of swirled them on the floor until I felt they were mixed well. If you’re good at shuffling I imagine you can just take chunks and turn them while shuffling regularly. My hands can’t do that.
Every time I do a reading I shuffle my cards and then deal into 3-4 piles which I decide based on what gives my hand a little pain (the other people I know say they get a warm feeling in their hand or gut usually but I get a pain yay) and sometimes it doesn’t react with anything or reacts very little until I flip the card the other way to set it down, which reverses and unreversed my cards regularly. It’s also a very time consuming process to do it my way.
I also don’t pay attention to what’s ‘right side up’ when I pick up my cards to start shuffling because... there isn’t one and my cards are pretty well split by this point.
That’s too specific of a question for tarot. You’d be better off using dice or pendulum readings. Or making a specific numerology oracle deck (which may exist already). The cards aren’t designed to give numbers or yes no answers, they can only talk through the meanings assigned to the standard cards.
How about a tarot spread that’s about looking deep into your very soul, about what really lurks behind your eyes when you sleep and likes to pace side to side like a caged animal looking for the weak link in the fence?
I mean I think that would be my Hidden Feelings Spread or my Can’t Sleep Spread? But if I’ve misunderstood your prompt, let me know and I’ll make a new one for you!
