We are not affiliated with any hate groups against Jirai's, Yanblr, or Menhera.
Hello,
Considering the impression our username might give off, it is a play on words "Judge by Jury."
We named ourselves that because what you identify as is not wholly indicative of who you are or how you act as an individual. We will be discussing disturbing behaviors that bring about our negative image to the common population. We will not be generalizing a group of a wide variety of people based on malicious actions of bad apples within our community.
Not all Jirai's are toxic by default or want to be toxic. Those that wear the fashion or those that are mentally unhealthy should not be ostracized or relentlessly ridiculed. As many turn to alternative fashion subcultures to find unity.
We acknowledge that even though there are problems within our community, it is not new behavior that only Jirai's are guilty of.
We do not stand with, or endorse the actions of ttenss, name, jirai-exposed, or people who wish to unproductively criticize the community.
Our mission is to fairly assess what happens from here forward.
Please keep this in mind when we post about issues within Japan.
Hello,
On a world scale, all of the problems we will mention happen in every country. Usually under unique circumstances, within each localized community. While we are talking about Japan specifically when it pertains to Jirai-kei, we will not endorse treating Japan as the sole villain in any context. Do not use our articles as a reason to spread hateful or racist rhetoric regarding Japan or Japanese people.
That is counterproductive to our mission as an informational blog, and does nothing to tackle the issues we bring to your attention.
Sincerely, be smart, be kind, please,
JBJ
Welcome to Judge by Jirai
Our mission is to talk about the community and things going on in it, in an unbiased and analytical manner. Not just on tumblr, in real life, and on other social media platforms.
In Judge by Jirai the intention is to not single anyone out regarding a specific behavior. It is a play on words for judge by jury, as we want to address things we collectively find concerning. Problematic behaviors have run rampant in multiple J-fashion groups on social media for years. Our job is to shed light on issues so the average newcomer has more context behind potential controversies.
Our pledge is to work with as much information as humanly possible. We work within our small team to prevent the spread of misinformation and fear mongering among Jirai groups. We will also be working on a fashion only blog Jirai-kei related, but that is not the main focus of this blog.
We will not blindly blame or defend anyone without knowing the full context behind what has taken place.
Without sufficient evidence we may potentially ignore requests.
We will also be abiding by TOS and using the appropriate maturity content tags for sensitive topics.
This is why you may not be able to see some of our posts if you are a minor or have turned off viewing mature content in settings.
More information about us below.
Some of the topics we will be delving into are:
꒰♡꒱ The good things Jirai communities are capable of;
꒰♡꒱ Concerning behaviors that ruin Jirai's reputation; and
꒰♡꒱ Current world events that involve Jirai controversies.
We find it very important to address the problems in our community so we can grow as a group. We will only be talking about other J-fashions as it pertains to concerning behaviors or ever-growing conflicts between them.
As for political alignment, we're not qualified to cover such stories at length and we wish to keep our blog as on topic as possible. We stand with you regardless of race, gender, or sexuality. We will not tolerate behaviors rooted in bigotry on our blog.
Topics we will not be writing about are:
꒰♡꒱ Things that have nothing to do with the community;
꒰♡꒱ Things that have to do with politics;
꒰♡꒱ Any sort of petty arguments or disagreements that could be solved by privately confronting the party you have an issue with, or by blocking said party.
If you wish for us to address an issue in the community, you may send us an ask or message our blog directly. We will do our best to actively reply and cover stories sent to us.
If you'd like to reach us please do so through:
꒰♡꒱Our DMs
꒰♡꒱Google form submissions (it is anonymous, we will not receive your email address)
꒰♡꒱Through our ask box. (Speak your truth)
A few of our personal rules are:
꒰♡꒱ We do not make any claims or say anything unless we have sufficient evidence.
꒰♡꒱ If we need to contact you for a story we will not do it anonymously. This is to prevent anyone claiming to be us to scare or intimidate you. We will contact you directly with what context has been provided to us.
꒰♡꒱ We are not taking any new team members at the moment. However, if you wish to work with us in the future, please do not announce publicly that you would like to work with us. We will not consider you if you announce your wishes to contribute on public posts.
For now we will be covering any stories sent to us about personal experiences or concerns that arise within Jirai spaces. We are working on also publishing our writings in Japanese. One of our members is learning, but not yet confident in their abilities to re-post our content without a translators aide.
We hope to serve you well,
Sincerely,
JBJ
