Could I ask how my relationship as Troian was with Zagan? I only remember being close with him,,
Okay, Anon, I asked the Dragons about your relationship with Zagan, and this is what they had to say: (Under a cut because it got a little long!)
1. Significator of the overall relationship: Queen of Cups.
According to the book, the Queen of Cups signifies “a time of quiet contentment with life.” This likely means that the two of you were happy together, enjoying a peaceful and mutually beneficial relationship.
2. Conscious thoughts of the Subject (Zagan) about the Questioner (Troian): 5 of Pentacles.
The 5 of Pentacles says that “differences arise that could divide friends or lovers; there may be a period of deep loneliness.” Something happened, probably towards the end of the relationship, that had Zagan feeling put out. It’s possible that this something was related to your death as Troian.
3. Subject’s feelings/unconscious thoughts about Questioner: 2 of Pentacles.
“You will know harmony and contentment even though there are changes going on around you.” Despite the surface thoughts of discontent towards the end, Zagan found peace and enjoyment in your relationship. Likely, they found in you a measure of stability when everything else was going sideways.
4. Subject’s feelings/unconscious thoughts about the relationship: 8 of Wands.
This card is a little confusing to me, so instead of just picking the meanings that feel right, I’m giving you the whole description from the book. “Barriers fall and events move quickly. Urgent messages of a positive nature come your way. You may take a journey, possibly by air.” A possible meaning of this is that Zagan felt the relationship moved quickly when it first started, likely fueled by a since of urgency? Paired with the other two cards relating to Zagan’s feelings towards you, I feel like that is the most likely meaning of this one.
5. Questioner’s (Troian’s) feelings/unconscious thoughts about the relationship: 5 of Swords. --Filled in after doing the other two for this line--
“Problems may arise from rash behavior.” Ah, now this whole half of the reading is making sense. Likely, one of you did something reckless that caused trouble with an opposing force, possibly someone in a position of power and that put pressure on the relationship. That your side of the drawing focuses on this issue suggests that you felt it was Zagan’s fault, though the presence of the 2 of Swords means that you still felt kindly towards them.
6. Questioner’s (Troian’s) feelings/unconscious thoughts about Subject (Zagan): 2 of Swords.
“There is tension and indecision in relationships or friendships. You are faced with having to balance two important things in life without being able to make a firm decision.” According to this card, you found your relationship just as important as something you felt opposed the relationship, this left you torn between the two. Likely, the trouble hinted at by this card was either at the very beginning or very end of the relationship.
7. Questioner’s conscious thoughts about Subject: Justice.
Another interesting card, Justice in the Dragon deck is all about legal matters. Perhaps one of you had a job in law enforcement of some kind? I’m not sure how to interpret this one, sorry! After looking at the 5th card in the drawing, this card could indicate that Zagan was the source of some legal troubles you faced as Troian.
Hope this helped! ~Mod Mia
