It’s so hard to give a sense of height from where I’m standing and the size of that iceberg. It was about the size of a school bus.

Settled into a nice Air B&B for a few days. Going to explore a different part of the island for the first time. Heading to Twillingate tomorrow then maybe some exploring in Gander. My brother wants to ask every person in Gander if they were in Come from Away until they kill him. I might let them.

Anyway. Expect lighthouses and cliffs and ocean and probably more icebergs from me.

No whales today but that ocean was angry. At the end of the video you can see a pole with a life preserver on it. On big storm days. The waves can go past that.

We should have a savory pop star. Pop music by and large is inseparable from candy metaphors both externally (music critics talk about "bubblegum" pop, or call a pop song "cotton candy") and internally (hundreds and hundreds of pop songs with lyrics that refer to candy or sweets). What if there was a pop star that was completely savory-themed. She's singing a sexy club song that's like oh oh ohhh I know you want this soyyy sauce or maybe she's singing a breakup ballad that's like loving youuuuu.... was like eating beef with bouillon cuuuuuubes...
