So what if you killed them? So you murdered innocent people. You murdered people who were thrown into the same situation as you. Maybe the strong do survive, but some of the strongest die. Rue was stronger than me, yet here I am. And if one of the careers who murdered her won, would that make them the strongest? Or would you consider them as bloodthirsty as I do?

And you think they didn’t? Every tribute wants to fight to get back to their families. So was I. But I never once tried to justify murder in cold blood.

Two. I killed two. One of them killed a twelve year old girl, and the other one was being slowly torn apart by mutts and asked me to do it, to end his misery. I didn’t kill anybody in their sleep. That’s what a Career would have done. That wasn’t surviving.

Cesar Flickerman: Welcome, thank you. Thank you. Now, I’m sure you have all been waiting /such/ a long time for the Capitol’s announcement. Don’t worry, I have too. But! Tonight we have a special treat for your patience. So, please, help me in welcoming our first guest Natasha Beckett. Cesar Flickerman: Natasha, tell us. How has your stay been in the Capitol so far? Have you gotten into any trouble with any of the other victors? Tasha: Cesar, you know you can call me Tasha! Anyways, as you know, Victors who worked in the capitol didn't have to go back into these..Games. But I chose to. So I am now no longer working for the Capitol. As for the other Victors..well some of them I am on the wrong side of. I mean I was a gamemaker and all. But I am ok with that. If being back in means that I will protect my friends I'll do it no matter what. Cesar Flickerman: /Really?/ I don’t think any of us saw that coming. With that aside, have you gotten along with a lot of the victors? I’ve been hearing it’s been like a big family in the time you’ve all spent here. Am I right? Tasha: Yes. A few of the victors and I have actually become really close. I know for a fact that some of them aren't happy about going in but who isn't. It's a horrible game, but it's the price we have to pay. *laughs innocently* And like I said before, I am willing to protect my friends not matter what the cost is. Cesar Flickerman: That’s touching really. I’m sure we’re all happy to hear that! So in this family of your’s is there any special someone that tickles your fancy? Rub you the right way? Catches your eye? Tasha: *smiles* No, not really. I don't really see anyone in that way. Cesar Flickerman: Aww, come on now don’t be so shy. We’re all friends here, right? On another note, I heard all the victors were required health checks. You came up clean, of course- right? No problems or difficulties? Any tumors or growths we should know about? Tasha: Nope, I got a clean bill of health! Cesar Flickerman: Good! Good! We’re glad to hear it! Wouldn’t want anything to stump you during your tasks. Or tonight either! I hear you have a special performance tonight, correct? What exactly will you be doing? Tasha: What I do best. Sing.  Cesar Flickerman: Sounds fantastic! Well, we won’t keep you waiting any longer.
