no but i am actually going to cry. grover being played by a desi actor will forever make me cry as a desi person who never saw himself in pjo because there weren’t any desi characters because this is THE representation we need
about to commit crimes for walker scobell aka our percy jackson
what's up, i have a new uquiz called "which van gogh painting are you?" i had a major van gogh hyperfixation for a few weeks. i worked rlly hard on it so pls take it pls
starry night"i don't know anything with certainty but that the sight of the stars makes me dream." although vincent van gogh is now known and loved by countless people, he didn't have an ounce of fame while he was alive. starry night is one of the most famous paintings ever, but at the time, van gogh called it a failure. in the same way, you have no concept of just how loved you truly are. you're good at looking out for others, and you have a vibe that draws people to you. you are a wonderful addition to this little world, and you don't even see it. but i hope you do someday. some of your traits are: creative, insecure, and romantic.
‘there’s a slug watching us’ my brother in Christ we’re homosexuals
coming this sunday
Has anyone done this yet? Is this anything?
my contribution
Percy: It’s not gay if I wanna date Jason, but like as bros right?
Annabeth: I’m not an expert, but that does sound kind of gay.
Nico, eating chips: I’m an expert. That’s gay.
Do not cite the deep canon to me, witch. I was there when it was collectively ignored.
girlboss? no. girlbas. bas ho gaya.
I made a thing because this fandom isn’t giving Katara the respect she deserves.
Of course Katara isn’t a bad character! She’s probably one of the BEST female characters I know! She’s so realistically flawed that it makes me see her as the most human character on the show, from her genuine compassion to her sudden mood swings to the desire to show that she’s not some fragile girl from the South, it’s beautiful, she’s a strong, smart girl with a lot of power and she uses her potential to the max, and bonus points? She’s a girl of color, and characters of color don’t get as much recognition as white characters, so that’s just another factor to what makes her amazing.
So when I see these claims that she’s a bad character I just see sexism, because girls like Toph and Azula are no better when it comes to meanness, and yet it’s Katara who gets the most flak especially because she’s significantly more feminine than the other two and they don’t like her ‘bitchiness’ because she’s prone to mood swings, even though I think so… Toph, the rude rule-breaker who refused to help her new friends wasn’t being bitchy? And Azula the same girl who smiled when her brother got half his face barbecued isn’t a bitch? But Katara getting frustrated and upset makes her a bitch? Where’s the logic in that? So…. yeah.
Katara is NOT a bad character.
