We’d like to share with you some important updates to Taskware.:
We've made big changes to how projects and tasks work following the feedback we’ve received from teams using taskware.
The biggest update is moving from a task and deliverable based project system to kanban-style project boards which can be customized for any type of project. This way projects and assignments flow between project stages instead of a binary (completed/uncompleted) task list.Â
Here’s how it looks like:
We’re also working on some screencasts to show you how to get the most out of taskware.
For all of you waiting on invite codes - we haven’t forgotten about you! Soon we will be sending out more invites.Â

First of all, we wanted to thank everyone who has shown interest in taskware, we can barely keep up with our inbox!
Over the last couple of days we've been migrating to a brand new server and prepping our invite system to handle the load. We will start sending out small batches of beta invites starting Monday, December 9th.Â
We will keep you posted with any news and look out for your invite soon!
Hello World! We want you to meet taskware: a new project and team collaboration app for startups and agencies
Taskware is a project management and team collaboration app built from the ground up by Ideaware, a user experience agency.
We built the app to solve a few problems we had with other project management apps out there:
They have a terrible user experience
Steep learning curve due to too many unused features
We wanted an app to be adaptable to different workflows and not the other way around
Most of them are either lacking features or bloated
Nothing suited for agencies, dev shops and startups
We got tired of having to use 3+ apps to work on a daily basis (project management, time tracking and company intranet)
All of the above get very expensive when your team grows
Basecamp is great for client communications, but terrible for managing multiple projects
Nothing out there was enjoyable to use
Nothing out there gave us a company-wide overview of how the projects where doing
Is taskware right for me?
If you've dealing or have ever dealt with any of the issues above then the answer is a definitive yes.
Sweet, when can I use it?
We're currently in a private beta and giving out weekly invites (we want to iron out all details and scaling headaches early on). If you want to get an invite please sign up at http://taskware.do
How much will it cost?
If you've dealt with many apps to get work done, you're probably tired of paying hundred of dollars for apps just to keep our projects in check.Â
We will always keep taskware reasonably priced: $19.99/month if you are a < 10 person team and $49.99/month for any team size after that.
No hidden fees, no storage fees, nothing. Manage all the projects you want, track all the times you want, and have as many conversations as you want. Cancel anytime.
Our beta users will get the first two months free with any pricing model they choose.
What features can I expect?
We will be creating a series of posts about our specific features and how they can help your startup or agency.
Some of these include: Projects, tasks, project messages, time tracking, team discussions and reporting. Everything wrapped up in an amazing, easy to use interface.
Check out some screenshots on dribbble.
