She was being unreasonable, she was more than aware of that, it was clearly written on the males face that he was extremely uncomfortable and just wishing she would turn around and tell him that it was enough at the club and they could go back to one of their houses. She wasn’t the only one that lost someone that night, Tate lost his girlfriend — Tate was the one who found her after Bonnie ran out of fear, her phone in her hand with 9-1-1 dialed but never hitting call and before she knew it, they were surrounding her best friends house and pulling her out in a body bag. “Whatever,” she hissed finally, unable to handle her own anger at that point, anger at herself and anger at the world for ripping Haley away from her so easily, over something so stupid that both of them could’ve stopped doing the next day if they decided. “I’m having fun,” she hissed, taking a shot the moment it came into view, throwing a five dollar bill towards the waitress and moving through the crowd, the music getting louder and louder as she looked towards her destination. “Good, then let’s go,” she snapped, grabbing hold of his hand as she continued to walk, craving the lit up dance floor under her feet.
He’d never really understand this shit, but then again, Tate had never been the party type of guy. Crowds bothered him, people bothered him; fueling that with alcohol was always a bad fucking idea and after some time of repeating the same thing over and over every weekend, he finally started cutting it out of his life. Losing Haley had really only been the final nail in that coffin. “Hey.” He cut a rough tone out at her decided annoyance. “Nobody is trying to stop you from having fun, Bonnie .----” But he knew her idea of fun didn’t always mean leaving the party conscious. He avoided rolling his eyes as she dragged him towards the bar, Tate already feeling the familiar prickle at the back of his neck. Brilliant. “Nothing too crazy, got it?”
