hi friends, i’m so so sorry about my absence. i have been goin through it lately and i got scared by the number of things i owed so i think! what i’m gonna do is start fresh.

make a new starter call at some point since my other one is sooooo. old now. and try to start again and see how that goes ;;;; as always thank you so much for being patient with me, i have every intention of working my way back here.

there’s this really good sylvcedes fic i’ve been keeping up with on ao3 (i’m not gonna link it here bc it’s uh nsfw but very good) and this part really got to me today and i’m adopting this hc now also.

i never thought of how what happened to mercedes’ mom would have emotionally scarred her too and kinda warped her outlook on love and i’m a bit hecked up over it rn!!!!!

like mercie wouldn’t be against finding love for sure and she would ask this favor of whoever she’s with it but it’s really sad to think about regardless asdfsdfasdf she had to see her mom be treated terribly for crests so the fear of it happening to her too is very real 8(

hello, sorry i haven’t been around much!

earlier in the week i was in alabama for my work trip, and then some personal stuff happened at the end of the week and yesterday i. like p much slept all day asdfsdfasfdsaf

not a nsfw headcanon but i’m shoving myself onto here anyway to say i’ve been thinking all day abt mercie giving her partner scar kisses. literally no matter who it is they’re gonna have scars bc war and mercedes would def be the one to be like “no, please don’t be ashamed of them. they’re a part of you” etc etc etc

and not everyone is worried abt their scars, of course, but even if they were like ‘yeah they’re there, whatever’ she would still! kiss them! bc surely there is still some pain attached to them via memories or smth so she wants to take it away and make them feel better 8( magical healing mercie kisses

i’m sorry i’m making so many ooc posts today i’m like

my bf just brought up a really interesting thing to think abt when i went to him blubbering abt jeritza and mercie and he said like

he goes back and forth on whether or not mercie would side with edelgard or not? she’s got the big Fuck Crests energy but also the church took her in when she left house bartels and she super believes in the goddess obviously but also..... jeritza.......... emile

she def accepted that they would have to fight going off of the paralogue with caspar, but that doesn’t necessarily help with the extreme guilt she feels after he dies bc she feels she essentially left him behind to rot soooooooooooooooo there’s that. 

it is hard to say!!!! i still have more character studying to do for sure but i think overall she would prob stick with the church? hypothetically? mercie’s got a warped idea of what being selfish is like so i think her biggest struggle would be trying to come to terms with betraying the church bc it saved her life and she owes so much to the goddess but also the goddess Sucks and crests Suck and she doesn’t really get to learn abt the former in the blue lions route so

i just get to think abt this myself until my brain hurts
