“ Yes, actually! You remembered– good. “
She can’t help but feel relief that the orca’s here instead of what could be an intruder, and so the oarfish looks up to the male with a smile on her face. She can’t be more thankful than she is now for how he helped her on that day, where she was weak.
“ Tatsumiya. I never really got your name, either. Do you mind telling me? “
The fact that she’s talking to an orca herself is a funny story that she might save for another day, seeing as this is the natural predator– though there’s no sense of danger other than the odd scent of blood, though he did seem to be the same back then.
“How could I forget something like that? The scent of your blood in my nostrils as I carried you to the castle brings back nostalgia.”
Well, aside from the orca’s recollection of her being Old’s prey, there was the time that little witch blindly trusted him to take the wounded oarfish back to Uomi’s place. The fact that she had been wounded was just a plus in his book.
Funny enough, he didn’t even try to eat her, or kill her even though he very well could have. She was lucky to be standing infront of him at his moment.
“I guess by now you won’t take my normal line, would you?” The orca teased. She had asked him this before, and he told her that he was simply an orca on a stroll. The classic line he delivered to all who questioned him.
However, this time he would grace her with his name. “I’m Idate.”
“ A-Ah... I see. “ She replies, fingers loosening their grip on her dress as Tatsumiya tries not to look too anxious for the orca, and she steps forward to the killerwhale, tilting her head to the side. There’s little fear as she stood there in front of the orca, though her feverish mind is quick to think of the possibilities that could happen, but Tatsumiya chooses to trust the man since he really was the one who save her life.
“ You really do remember, then. “ She grins, hands down and one folded over the other while Tatsumiya muffles a giggle with her sleeve at his next reply. She remembers asking Wadanohara if the orca had given her his name, and was only given ‘ an orca on a stroll. ‘ She remembers being slightly disappointed of not knowing his name, though she perks up in surprise at the actual response.
“ Idate, you say...? Mm. Tatsumiy-- “ She can’t help but chuckle at the mention of her own name again. “ Forgive me, I noticed that I already had stated my name. I already gave you mine, so... “
“ Thank you again, Mister O... Mister Idate. I appreciate what you did to help me on that day. “
