FAQ

What brushes do you use?

Here is a google drive folder where you can download all the brushes I regularly use.

If you enter the names of those brushes in the clip studio asset store you will also find them as most of them are from brushpacks I downloaded some time ago. This excludes the 2 gouache brushes. The 'Gouache 2' was a pre installed CSP brush and the 'Gouache' is basically the same except I modified it so that it's square shaped.

Do you take commissions? Probably. You can contact me via [email protected] or my ko-fi @ taxkha to inquire.

Can I message you to chat?

As you can see my messages are disabled because it has gotten too overwhelming. You are welcome to shoot me an ask though, I always appreciate those.

For some reason this took super long to draw which might be because I started redrawing the lineart like 3 times

I made a quick edit of Theodora so her skin looks less ashy. For comparison, this is the original:

Im excited for this game but also disappointed about the ashy skintones of many characters we have seen so far especially since the skin tones of the dark skinned characters in the previous game Engage looked fine. On top of that the woman with the darkest skin tone is also the most sexualized one. Theres also some design elements like the neck rings which are worn by wives and only taken of should her husband die and considering FE's emphasis on supports + paired endings with its playable units I doubt that Theodora is already a wife at the beginning of the game. On top of that, a lot of the male characters who are black get to have appropriate hair texture as we have seen in the trailer. Off the top of my hat I can only name that lady with the golden cat mask with a black hair style. Her design is beautiful imo and I'm excited about a game taking place in an african inspired country but it sucks that everytime a game is takes inspiration by anything african it is usually poorly researched and drenched in orientalism. I think FE has become a lot more inclusive over its many many entries over the years but I wish they would handle these things with more care still.

This is all under a post of a couple completely harmless drawings of 2 guys being cute with each other because the ship in canon is toxic. I think some of you need to stop being so comfortable insinuating that strangers on the internet are creeps or glorify rape based on the fiction they like but that is just my *~ hot take of the day ~*.

Its so funny when someone comes at you for depicting a less than fluffy relationship or scenario and they are like "well Ive had a negative experience and you depicting it is triggering me" okay?? who the fuck are you??? why would I take the feelings of a complete stranger into consideration when making art for me???? Also. Its always about someone elses comfort and someone elses experiences but what about my own? What if I find catharsis in depicting certain things? Suddenly that doesnt matter because some bitch I dont know got triggered by my art?? fuck off! I dont remember who said it but theres this really great analogy thats like "I like to crash my toy cars against each other but that doesn't mean I want to be involved in a car crash." This is my general stance on anything problematic in media lol. And Im not saying you are never allowed to criticize how a piece tackles certain topics but maybe the comment section of some fanartist on tumblr isnt the right place lol.
