Honestly part of him didnât know why he was doing this. There was still that one part that was mad, and that never got over the hurt from being dumped by her and he should have some anger against her, right? How come he has the urge to kiss that grin off her face ? He stood there silent for a few moments, eyes narrowing as he surveyed her and thatâs finally when he took that step forward again a hand moving to the back of her head to pull her in for another deep kiss, not wanting to break it apart this timeâ to SAVOR the familiar feelings of her lips against his and the way her body felt. But.. once again reality came in and he was reminded of what she had done. âââNo, nope. Iâm.. not doing this again. Iâm still.. I should hate you for breaking up with me the way you did.ââ He pointed, pacing back and forth to try and clear his thoughts and MAINLY to avoid any eye contact with her.
For a few moments, Dominic had just stood there, watching Taylor, and she almost didnât know what to do with herself. What was he even staring at anyway? She was still trying to catch her breath considering how caught off guard heâd taken her only a minute ago. Things were still a little hazy from when heâd closed the space between their mouths that first time, and Taylor almost found herself gasping against his lips, but she stayed quiet, both of her hands moving this time to rest against either side of his face, heart-rate instantaneously picking up at the familiar feeling of his lips, his familiar taste, the mere fact heâd even kissed her in the first place... and twice, no less. The girl leaned into him, returning his second kiss more confidently this time. But then heâd pulled away almost abruptly, and she sort of gasped quietly, out loud, this time for real. A lump formed in her throat at the reminder heâd thrown her way, as if she hadnât been stuck with the constant reminder each day. âDom,â she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. She couldnât even look at him straight in the eye for a moment. Then, she decided to suck it up, trying to find his gaze, but itâs like he was purposely avoiding looking at her. âPlease stop pacing. Youâre making me fucking nervous,â she told him, a sigh falling from her mouth. âLook... fuck, Dominic, I know I messed up. I know that. Thereâs no excuse for my actions, and Iâm not looking to make one, but just... can you hear me out for a minute? Please? And then Iâll leave you alone. You wonât have to see me ever again if you donât want to.â Those words even stung Taylor herself. She wanted to see him again. Seeing him today had thrown so many different feelings into the mix once again. âThings were... things were so difficult then. We were nineteen. Life was busy. I was going to school, stressed out, worried about you--- very much in love...â The girl shook her head, biting down on her bottom lip for a minute... still trying to keep that composure of hers. âYou have no idea how hard that was for me. At the time, it seemed like the right thing to do. I had the chance to concentrate on my studies, get the shit done I needed to. And then I never heard from you again and figured you despised me...â Her words sorta faded, and she found herself leaning her back against the brick building again. âHell, I despised me, so I couldnât possibly blame you. Who the fuck lets go of the love of their life like that?âÂ
