to say i’m missing being on the pitch is a complete understatement. i’m itching to get back out there, playing in the weekly games. injured myself late last year and had an operation for an ACL repair. gutted wasn’t the word. though, i’m finally back on the training pitch, so at least’s that an improvement, but i know i got a long way to go yet. it’s safe to say i’ve binged literally everything on netflix, and most on amazon prime too, so i guess i’m asking what’s next for me to do? @hfrpstarters​

fucking hell, you tore your ACL? jesus, i’m so sorry to hear that. can’t even imagine how difficult everything surrounding that must have been. have heard the rehab of that is quite close to what you would consider hell. but good thing you’re slowly getting back in to the swing of things huh. hopefully you’ll get back to full fitness right? i’m sure you have lots of people supporting you along your way back right? hope everything continues to go in the right direction. — how about picking up a new hobby? cooking? baking? improve on some other skill you may not usually have the time to practice?

Life has been so crazy recently and I feel like I haven’t really slowed down since getting married in February. I mean, Mel, the kids and I moved to London so I could start my play in the Westend, which started and I totally didn’t pass out on the first preview, nope not at all. Then we found out that a new little person is going to be joining the family in the spring. It’s just been a crazy few months and I am loving it. How is everyone else been doing? Oh my god you’re having a baby? Man, that is just the most exciting news. You must be feeling high on life currently, look at you go! Oh man — massive congratulations on every single little thing. Look at you, you’re going to be a dad. How does that feel? Has it sunk in yet? Very happy for you and the family. I’ve been doing good. Enjoyed some home time and down time for the past week after a very busy start to the year. Can’t complain much though — it’s all been very well. Just happy to be home and take it easy for a little while.

exactly that! i take pride in having earned those with my hard effort, — and bloody hell, do i know that everyone in my position would be the same but when they can’t afford it or don’t seem to be seeking it for it enough they start teasin’ and mockin’ you about it like it’s nothin’. that’s why i wish i’d kept things more private before this. but you’re right, they find the most stupid things to mock you for or simply to pick on you. jesus, really? they’re so vicious and envious it’s hilarious, because if they could do the same, they’d be the first ones in line to do it and if someone tried to tell them something bad they would be bloody hurt by it. thanks, love! i can’t blame you for wanting to get your house redecorated, i did that too recently even f i don’t really spend much time at home — one does like their house pretty! paris, paris fashion week? did you walk the runway?

i have some form of understanding if people have illwill towards people who haven’t worked towards something like it. but then again, at the end of the day - people just care way too much. sometimes you just need to realize you don’t always need to voice your opinion, cause it doesn’t actually matter. like you’re not going to get rid of your collection just cause someone thinks something. like what do people expect they’ll get out of mocking someone anyways? it’s pathetic actually. nah, you show it off and be proud of it — you have every right to. always easy to think that afterwards.. but you also have to see that it’s these type of things that you learn and grow from. maybe it doesn’t have to be that you don’t show things.. could be that you learn to care less about what people say or think. i imagine as an athlete you learn to grow a thick skin right from the start though huh? — my thought exactly! it’s not to brag either — but sometimes you just get ti witness first hand how ugly jealousy can be. cause at the end of the day, that is where a lot of it is rooted, in jealousy. i can relate to that. i’ve barely been in that house this year. but i also split my time in three places. but nevertheless, it’s like you say, you want your place to be pretty and interior design is a big passion of mine. i didn’t walk in paris this time, only attended events. did walk in milan though, so can’t say my feet haven’t been aching.

I am, I didnt think it would happen since it’s only a few weeks away, but it’s real! I think so, have you seen her? I’m the sweet one out of the two, she could kick some ass any time of day. I make candles in my spare time, so I can talk about that all day. I love peppermint, it’s so refreshing.

Better later than not at all right? Sometimes less of a notice can be the even better route to go down.. I have seen her yes! I have no doubt the two of you will make one hell of a team. You do? Oh my god how exciting. I love candles and especially when people make their own. Do you sell them too? Or just make them for yourself? I couldn’t agree more. As long as it doesn’t get overpowering. But the perfect amount of peppermint reminds me of candy canes, which I love.

So lately, I’ve been doing a lot of work by myself which..I don’t think I’ll ever get used to at this point, despite having done it..several times before and what not. But not being with my members, whether it be the other 6 in WayV or the 22 others in NCT as a whole, is something that still makes me feel all weird. I’m so used to the chaos that comes with being with a group of people, not having that, even when my three month old is with me which is plenty of chaos in its own, is strange as hell. Anybody else kinda have this feeling? Where you’re so used to being around a group of people, that it feels so odd not having them around all the time? Or just doing one event on your own? I gotta know that I’m not alone here. @hfrpstarters​

I guess I can relate in some sort of way. I used to do a lot of work with the same group of people for so long and when that all disappeared, it felt quite off. I still did shoots and such on my own even at that time.. But to loose working with that group of ladies at all, to not have that to look forward to — was just very strange. And it’s not so much or at all that you doubt yourself. It’s just when you’re comfortable and work great with others, you kind of forget what it’s like to do it on your own. Especially when there is always someone there to give you energy or put a smile on your face, or even just listen and talk when you need that. It makes us human after all. Sometimes you just forget what it’s like to now have others around you to lift you up and motivate you. You’re definitely not alone in any way, even when it feels like you are. I promise you, people can always relate. Goof for you that you’re actually opening up and talking about it though. It helps to hear from others who can relate.

Oh wow, that’s amazing though. Congratulations babe, you must be so excited. Even if it’s not exactly the way you had imagined, you’re still going there and get to show off. Lemme tell ya’, they think it’s goin’ to get our attention, which yes, it does, but for the wrong reasons. we’re not gonna get fuckin’ pelted in the head, look at ‘em and be like “thanks, love!”. I read almost every single sign that is brought to shows so it’s safe to say those work better than tossing things at the performers. I’m just lucky it didn’t hit me in the eye, that would of actually hurt. The tour is goin’ great! I enjoyed the small break to Italy but getting to perform my music is something I take pride in. I love it. Aw, that’s cute! It’s almost my daughters first birthday so I’m trying to help my wife get things together at the same time as working. 

Yeah really don’t see what any sort of positive they see themselves getting out of that situation. Probably in the spur of the moment and desperate to catch some form of attention that they completely dismiss the potential consequences. Not that that is an excuse in any sort of way. Like, the possibility of injuring you and even getting thrown out — just not worth it. Sorry to hear that still happens to you man. No matter how used you must be to things getting thrown on stage, it must still be quite infuriating. Yeah and most fans would know that right? That you read signs? I always think that is one of the best things a live performer can do and the sweetest thing a fan could do. Oh my god she’s nearly one? That is just adorable. Must be quite the handful to try and sort everything out at once. But hopefully it all goes well for you.
