Cult of the Lamb AU's:
This is mostly for people who aren't familiar with me on Twitter. I currently have two main AU's for COTL:
Cult of the Owl AU:
The main AU of this blog. Focused on the Owl (they/she), an alternate version of the Lamb, as they fight for their and their followers' lives to restore peace and warmth to their blizzard-covered home. This world will have Owlverse variations of canon characters, such as Narinder, Ratau, etc (check my Toyhouse for the designs of them and other characters).
I even got a discord server for friends and anyone that wants to join! DM me for the invite if you're interested!
Born of Sin AU:
Takes place about 30 years after the main events of Cult of the Lamb. Focuses on Shepard (they/she), a lamb hybrid and newly fledged god; and Basil (she/her, Minor), Shepard's adopted daughter expected to bear the Lamb's crown after they retire. There's heavy focus on the mechanics of sin and death in this specific AU. Check my TH for additional information about them both. While not my main AU, I'm always happy to answer any questions and concerns about it!
I do have other alternate universes, but I put little to no focus on them, such as Cult of the Crossing (COTL x Animal Crossing, with Dom as a cult leader. lol).

War Vessel is a swap au, but I wanted it to be more than simply swapping character roles. I wanted it to be its own story, different from the plotline in Cult of the Lamb. It's mostly a shamgoat swap au, but it’s a lot more.
To start, this is Mari, the protagonist of my au. Narinder gave them that name when he took them into his care, and it stuck with Mari. They are blunt and stoic, with no clue about their past.
They are hunted. They are mad.
Within the setting, you want to be in a cult. A life outside of a cult is hardship and suffering. Monsters, conflict, insecurity. Life under a god’s care is a dream to most. But gods are cruel. Turn your back on them, and their wraith follows you.
Narinder left that life behind to protect his sons, Baal and Aym.
In the end, he chose to give up his life to Rusor, my lamb. This sets the story in motion.
From the shadows comes the stalker, the goat, with honey words and a crescent crown. Mari couldn’t accept Narinder's death.
They struck a deal. It’s a simple one. Kill Death. Free War. Save their brother.
Simple. . .
Aside from that, here are a few established characters. Though they are swapped with a certain character, it doesn’t mean that character will follow the same backstory. Each one is different, with its own story that I want to share when I can.
I couldn't draw all the characters I wanted due to time. Text refers to who they were swapped with.
A few more I wanted to do were Fox, Ratau, Heket, Kallamar, Ygnya, and Marchosias. If I have time, I could make another chibi batch to share.
@psychicterrain (aka Nova), @woolhaven-defender (aka Genrefluid), and @strawberryCheesecakeHare are manipulative liars that have been engaging in racist behavior, stalking, spreading rumors, and harassing me and my friend. They are weaponizing the narrative they fabricated to ostracize us from the community and, because of the nature of their false accusations, other people have taken it upon themselves to take punitive actions against us.
I can't believe I've been told to kill myself because some random, chronically-online adults didn't like our interpretation of Woolhaven. And yet, here we are lol.
This behavior is not only toxic and unnecessary, it's dangerous. Had their attention been directed to someone that was younger, or had poor mental health, or just having a bad time in life, they could've driven someone to hurt themselves or worse. Over. A video game.
Nova and Genrefluid are being enabled and protected by their circle, allowing them to do and say whatever they please—no matter how racist, or misogynistic, or harmful, or incorrect.
Nova has since decided that they're going to be the "bigger person" after calling us neo-nazis, cropping and sharing our posts to be mocked and misrepresented, blowing up my inbox with racist and borderline incomprehensible babbling, and otherwise ruining our fandom experience for half the year. Genrefluid has opted to play dumb and simply deny anything ever happening despite being the origin of many of the rumors. And their circle is practically patting them on the fucking back for it, all while perpetuating the lies their buddies made up without asking for an inkling of proof.
So we gathered all the proof ourselves.
Not quite all of it has been transcribed as of posting this, but I'm tired of sitting on it. I'm tired of all of this. I spent a long time trying to clarify my points and trying to figure out what these people's problem is privately. And it was a waste of energy.
They aren't confused, there's no misunderstanding, and they Do Not Care about combatting racism or white supremacy, as much as they keep claiming to.
They're just abusers who found targets the community finds acceptable to harm. And "racism" is their scapegoat.
I've read this doc about 3 times now to understand (to some degree) where the authors are coming from. But from what I've seen, they leave a lot of messages on their end not visible. I'm not trying to be arrogant, but this is a big flaw in the doc. Please keep this in mind if you ever decide you want to out another 30 people you don't like the tone of.
In making a callout document like this, or any callout online, you must be transparent on the situation. This doesn't mean show everything, but you show enough so no context is left out. I see a few messages where people responded to you in a message or reply that's just not visible, so your word isn't completely enough to go off of. I understand it might sound self-incriminating, but it has the opposite effect. By showing the entire interaction you have with the accused, you appear credible. It lets your readers see the allegations from their point of view and form their own conclusions, to your favor or not. That's how argumentation works. You'd be transparent AND visually admit to (if any) wrongdoings on your part, but still stand by your word.
But I digress. This wasn't what I originally made this reblog for.
This is part of the section titled "Character Coding." The author makes the claim that if people headcanon the WH lambs to be POC- despite them being "violent, selfish, and a literal disease on the earth" and creating the rot to kill everyone- is harmful and POC shouldn't be portrayed that way. I can see where they are coming from, but I must give my thoughts of the matter. They've been dunked on enough.
Now I'm not a genius, but I've had a similar conversation like this when I was in a lecture, and I think the authors would like this insight. This changed the way I wrote characters myself. It is perfectly okay to portray characters of color as villains, from minor petty villains to people that want to end the universe. Being a villain to any degree shouldn't be limited to only white people, as that perpetuates a harmful stereotype in of itself where POC can only be seen as "goodie-goodie and flawless" in storytelling and not as people like other characters. However, an instance of making a villain of color that IS harmful is if the story actively demonizes the fact that they ARE a POC and deems it as bad. That, without a doubt, is racism.
This isn't happening with the WH disciples. Yes, they plotted the end of the world, and it's selfish, but the fact that they're lambs is not demonized here. They are simply put in the wrong because, of course, plotting the end of the entire world by spreading the rot is BAD. Without a question it's BAD. Even if you're the disciples biggest fan, you can definitely see that doing something like this is horrible. Even with their trauma, even being victims of a genocide, them nearly ending the world and everyone in it is. Not good. But like I said, the devs aren't saying "auurgh the dastardly LAMBS are ending the world because they are LAMBS and being a LAMB means you support everybody dying!!!"
So there's nothing really stopping people from headcanoning these characters as POC. And I can see why they would, as a black person myself! But I won't discredit what they believe because it doesn't align with how I see the characters. POC can be horrible people. Characters that are portrayed to be POC can be too, and it's not racist to think this way.

You know, if every character in this game is a bad person, we need to start speculating what sort of atrocities Forneus had done. What is that cat hiding....
