agree with hungary swap, disagree with italy swap.

agreeing with hungary because oscar led the race till the swaps and got screwed over by the team by pitting lando first.

disagreeing with italy because lando himself suggested to box oscar first!!!! you have to take slow stops into consideration when suggesting things like that! oscar would not have been ahead in mclaren had a standard stop, it was not a full “undercut”.

also with oscar’s response being something along the lines of “i thought we said slow stops were a part of racing” means that’s they have spoken about this before, why has the rule changed now?

in hungary, lando took 20ish laps to give the place back to oscar while constantly complaining on the radio. the team had to beg him to give it back. oscar didn’t agree with the swap but gave it back immediately.

also mentioning hungary to oscar on the radio is crazy. hungary wasn’t oscar’s fault at all! the hungary swap has been paid back in brazil and qatar last year. i thought this page was turned.

last year lando was 80+ points behind max going into hungary. “in a championship fight” 😐 oscar and lando are direct competitors and came in with a 34 point gap. team orders during a real championship battle is insane and embarrassing for mclaren. it was going to be a 2-3 for mclaren either way. the same amount of points. and pace wise; lando could have 100% taken the place back on his own.
