As gen-AI becomes more normalized (Chappell Roan encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use gen-AI because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by tech companies. I draw not because I want a drawing but because I love the process of drawing. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Their fundraiser is vetted, and (as of now) is roughly at €15,500/€35,000. This is mostly for escape, with the rest for bare-minimum living afterwards. This is half of the goal.

Hadeel is a pregnant woman who wants the safety of her 6 & 7 year old daughters, her unborn child, husband, mother and two brothers. She has already lost a lot of her family in this genocide. These people just want to leave and heal. They just want safety.

Might as well give an update here:

First of all noooooooo I ain't dead. I did forget about this place though but for a completely valid reason - I'm finishing mainstream education in under a week. I'll continue to higher ed, which will be for the next two years. Exams have been heavy af let me just say tho

To be fair I've just been going between school, home and discord, and nowhere else due to the pandemic still being a big fear of mine. So I haven't actually done anything significant apart from school. With summer coming up, I want to start maybe looking for part time work and taking in new hobbies. Maybe not on social media tho :v

While I might not be active on here much anymore I am planning one day to properly build myself up as a small-time artist on any platform. Still, hope everyone's good! Even if nobody rlly notices whether I'm here or not its the thought that counts
