my fish. I had an idea and I had to make it. I will now yap, BELOW the cut though because I’m not gonna clog anyone’s feeds with literally just a complete idea dump. There’s no organization down there or anything it’s a mess. Proceed at your own risk my friends. Anyway throws my fish at you let’s go gamers

RED HERRING: WAW

an abno that centers a lot around the main point of a red herring, that being to distract. This mainly shows up in its breach where it selects another already breaching abno in the facility and limits the ability to target it with the employees. This can be ACTUALLY TERRIBLE because it works on a large selection of abnos, AND the fish has its own HP bar. Nightmare fish. It also shows up in a school with some of its buddies, but the abno is the only red fish, and has a little tear on its face. Number of fish in the school scales with the abnormality it’s latched on to’s health.

If there are no breaching abnos however, the fish will breach on its own in a school of its fellows and run through the halls of whatever department it’s in, akin to King of Greed but way faster. Again, it is the only red fish in the school. The rest are gray.

i like the idea that if another abno breaches while it’s out it will path toward it and do the annoying shield thing. It could lead to some strategies where you purposely breach some kinda TETH abnormality or put it on Punishing bird so the gosh darn BLACK SWAN EGO USERS DONT ACCIDENTALLY HIT PUNISHING BIRD FOR THE 18000000000 TIME. it wouldn’t disperse if the abno it’s latched onto goes back into containment so it’s a temporary solution, but atleast instead of a WAW running around you’ve just got a TETH with extra health for a little bit.

I think if it had some kind of management gimmick it’d mess with some employee stats, but not actually alter them. More of the annoying distraction part of red herrings being thrown in. That’s probably a bad idea though it’s already a nightmare, but it would be fun!

it’s red so it deals red damage. Sorry I don’t make the rules (even though I made this thing) just how it’s gotta be. For real though it would probably do either red or black, but red feels better because it IS red .
