Red was the first album I ever bought. I remember going into target, and recognizing your face from music videos such as love story, ybwm, wanegbt etc (which I btw watched at least 10 times a day each). After I got that cd, it was literally the only thing I listened to for hours and hours, so much that even my entire family knew all the songs, and had their own favorites. Eventually I was known at my school as “the girl who likes Taylor Swift”, which I actually quite liked. Every time a new song / video by you came out, everyone always asked for my opinion on it.
When 1989 came out I was beyond excited. I remember crying my eyes out in front of my mom, because I had to get the album a day after it came out, instead of the actual release day😂 When I first heard the album, it was the best, most beautiful thing I’d ever heard. When the tour came up, I begged my mom to go, and she managed to get tickets for the Hyde Park concert, which was the best day of my life❤️ At this point my entire room, every single spot, was filled with Taylor posters/ Polaroids etc. No other celebrity, just you. I even had a Taylor calendar with just one date marked: the day of the concert. Every single night I counted down the days til the concert, and dreamt of what it would be like to meet you.
I unfortunately couldn’t go to the rep tour, because the date clashes with my exam dates, but I loved the reputation album just as much as 1989❤️ I am hoping I will get to go to the lover tour (hopefully there will be more European dates, maybe even Norway ;))) And my biggest life goal, would be to one day meet you Taylor❤️❤️❤️
