Having your child pay bills as soon as they’re fresh out of high school and grown is the biggest mistake… idc idc idc… you’re not teaching them nothing but to struggle and settle … teach them how to save , how to do taxes, how to better themselves , support their business ventures, congratulate them on furthering their education . Black parents always ask for money knowing they didn’t provide their child with a trust or college fund lol … stop setting y'all kids up to do the minimum

My first job I had was McDonald’s and as soon as I got my paycheck I had to pay rent. $200 outta each of my already minimum wage checks. And mind you, I had to pay for my cellphone bill, hygienic stuff and anything else I had to do. Like how you expect me to pay for that AND pay “rent” ? So I can live pay check to pay check like you? Fuck that bullshit.
