Annabeth has so many memories of listening to Logical. First memory that she ever had of it was in the Aphrodite cabin. Silena had gotten the GUTS vinyl and she had played this song on repeat. Annabeth only needed total battle strangdies in cabin 9, Hephaestus but she couldn't hear herself think over the loud music. Everyone knew not to interrupt the Aphrodite cabin when new music came out from the “real gods” ("The real god are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Maisie Peters. Not our parents" was Silena's favorite line to use during album releases). GUTS was one that the Aphrodite cabin had been playing, everyone was getting sick of it, which only made it worse. Even Drew, Silena’s right hand girl was getting sick of love is embarrassing. Annabeth didn’t mind it too much - she likes her voice and find the song Ballad of a homeschool girl really relatable (especially when her dad rolled her into an all girls high school). Silena, though she loved Logical and Vampire which a majority of camp was confused by. To their knowledge, she loves love and has never been hurt by it. (But the passing looks between Cabin 11 head counselor, and the shine of a sinning reminder say otherwise.) “It’s just songs that unite teenage girls pain” is what she always says. Annabeth knew that she loved being the Aphrodite girl who loves love but even Annabeth, despite their three year, can tell something had happened to make silena this way. Silena had started playing get him back! even when she laughed at Katie's ask if she was okay. "Olivia gets me" she would insist - but besides Katie, Clarisse and Annabeth try to get her to open up, Silena seemed the same to everyone at camp. It wasn't until Logical started playing years later, Silena's headstone staring right at her, Annabteh knew. She knew that Silena did a lot to protect Annabeth, but she too was just a girl.
