I am what Plato wrote about: a philosopher king. I have been given this beautiful ability, but have not been gifted with resources with which I can take advantage of my abilities. Do I deserve to be given money? No, but I would appreciate it - because the being given money will liberate a philosopher king, and if you have money to help but you choose not to, your are passing up the chance to save something as rare as a unicorn. IE something that does not exist in the real world, because there is no reason for one to be rational as long as their genes are being passed on. Am I bragging? No, I am merely stating a FACT. Whether it sounds like bragging or being self centered and obnoxious is insignificant, because it is not the truth; and I am in a relentless pursuit after truth. Unfortunately the chances of someone being a true philosopher king like myself is incredibly scarce and rare, meaning that there are many impostors and I will prove who i am through blog posts. Being able to use reason and logic without the interference of emotion comes at an incredibly high price, I'm completely incompetent in many other areas of my life, therefore without your donations this philosopher king will be soon be sleeping in San Fransquito creek and end up starving. Have no illusions, you are in control. If you decide not to give me money it is an absolute travesty and one should not deceive themselves into believing that it is anything otherwise. The reason that police states can literally go on forever is that all individuals that want power follow the same formula. Join a small political group of highly motivated individuals. Grow the movement in numbers, but the people that control are those that joined the political part. Then attempt a coup. This is why crackdowns on dissent are so harsh. Because all that would attempt a coup are dissenters therefore by eliminating all dissenters, no one will survive that has the personality type of one that wants to control the country ie power.
Someone that donates money to a charity is using an unsustainable model. Anyone that voluntarily enters into an unsustainable model cannot possibly be a philosopher king or be capable or using any reason and logic because this is foolish.
There is only one way that I know of to stop contagion. That is to have independent entities that do not need to interact with one another to achieve their objective.
When one is doing a math problem there will be those that can follow the work and there will be a consensus for one having the right answer. But for a philosopher king philosophizing there is an "answer key" and that is the other philosopher kings.
In this day and age a philosopher king will be able to have a blog and upload his philosophy to it. It is accesable to anyone in the world instantly and at no cost. Therefore the world has become much more of a meritocracy because one will be able to have a much wider possible then ever before.
In human populations there will be a set amount of those born with certain skills. Meaning that out of 100,000 people one will be the best at running the 100 meter. This "rate" is the same regardless of race or geographic population as long as the dietary needs are bing met, etc.
Society gives arbitrary values and beliefs to people. Yet, how can someone be an individual if they only absorb what society says as their beliefs and values?
Everyone is a whore. One faces unpleasantness in every occupation, but it is the degree of unpleasantness which is significant. If one hates being a prostitute but dislikes being a programmer even more, then being a whore is a great option.
There are many definitions of intelligence. Society would most likely define intelligence by how good ones grades are. But let's break down exactly how grades are determined to determine the essence of intelligence as defined by society. Grades are made up of test scores an homework. Tests tell how well one can absorb class material and then demonstrate this on the test. society would define intelligence as obedience. Since to get a good grade a pupil most go to a class, memorize x information and then regurgitate it on the exam. Those that obey the best get The highest grades. Education is based upon obedience, not rational thinking or logical thinking.
Chaos theory is not chaotic, in fact it is incredibly logical and organized. It is not possible to predict things because there are simply so many variables that it is impossible to account for them all because once one takes a variable into account, the next possible variables are exponentially greater, and exponentially greater; therefore from afar it may seem chaotic but in reality it is ebbing and flowing as one organism.
If one does not recognize the logic and reason of a philosopher king immediately, then they will never understand. One can sit and attempt to explain it to them for years and they will never be able to comprehend its essence. It is either immediately understood, or it will never be.
Could film have caused there be a rise in people who could speak well in front of the ignorant masses, that they would then vote for this candidate due to him possessing meritable qualities.
How does one define good art? I was recently at the moma in San Francisco. On center display was a urinal. Now I would ask, what is the criteria for something to be defined as "good art"? No one would be able to tell me, and if they tried they would either be lying or ignorant. What is defined as "good art" is completely random. Someone simply decides that something is a "masterpiece and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon like the idiotic, mindless rabble that they are. Each person may like a piece of art, it's subjective. Completely and totally subjective.
I was recently talking to a man in his mid thirties that was getting his phd in philosophy at one of the 4 best universities in the United States. I told the man that I was a philosopher king. His response was a chuckle, and that confidence is a good thing for one to have. This man is a demonstration of the vast majority of philosophers and how they are completely fake and don't even have a shred of understanding of what philosophy is about. The appropriate response would be to ask me, "why do you think that? Can you support that hypothesis"? Instead he simply doesn't take the statement seriously. Yet, the majority of people would call him a philosopher. If one would ask why, they would respond that it's because he has a "PhD". Well that is the true mob mentality, ignorance, superstition, and mediocrity.
