Yeah, sorry. I’m just so fed up with this place that I don’t even want to give it a chance. But uh, I don’t think so. I’ve got a few friends, but I’m not really popular. Just that word sounds pretentious as hell.
...Being popular isn't bad, it just means you're well-liked. It doesn't always have bad connotations.
Yeah, I guess. Games don’t really interest me that much. That’s why I read. But even that can get a little boring after a while. Sounds easy when you say it like that.

Jude really didn’t know what to think. He wanted to believe Beau, he wanted to believe him so badly, but then there was that voice in the back of his head that told him he shouldn’t, and that voice always won. He should’ve pushed Beau away, but he just had a way of making him feel so safe, so instead, Jude snuggled closer to Beau, lifting up his covers to his chest, shivering at how cold and sick he felt and trying to create warmth of some kind. Then he looked him dead in the eyes. “Why? It’s just… what do you want from me?”
For once, Beau was actually beginning to feel a little frustrated. Couldn't he just do nice things for people without having his motives questioned every five seconds? He tried to keep calm though as he looked down slightly at Jude. "Stop asking that question, Jude" he mumbled, not wanting to give off the aura that he was annoyed and instead used the tension he felt in his mind to pull the blond in closer to his own body. "Just accept that this is happening and that's all."

God, why did Beau have to make everything so difficult? Why couldn’t he just be like any other guy Jude’s ever talked to and just leave him alone? But no. He had to be here, sitting on Jude’s bed next to him, being his sweet self and making Jude cave. But he wouldn’t. Hell, he couldn’t. He wasn’t going to get feelings for anyone and if Beau isn’t here to have sex or ask for something from him, then maybe it would be best if he leaves. “Stop…” Jude whispered. That one word meant so many things, he just hoped Beau got up and left so he wouldn’t have to further explain himself. Beau was just a liar and he just wanted to hurt the younger boy, and Jude wouldn’t allow that, not again.
Taking hold of Jude's small self, Beau gently pulled him from the end of the bed and laid him against himself. Running his hand over the blond's soft cheek, Beau tried to smile at him but found it more difficult than anything after what he'd just seen. He wanted to be there for Jude but he had no clue how and for once in his life, felt even more useless than he had when he'd been told he was now deaf. "I know you don't believe me, Jude. And you don't have to. I'd carry on proving myself every single day for the rest of eternity as long as it meant that you would be there, okay? I'm gonna'...I'm gonna' earn that trust."
I need to use these Pizza Hut coupons before they expire. Buy one get ne free?! I shoulda used this yesterday!

To say he was surprised would be an understatement. Beau was so calm and collected, he couldn’t believe he raised his voice. He wasn’t scared. Not one bit. Just thrown back, shocked. If anything, Beau made the younger boy feel anything but scared. More like protected, sheltered. For a moment, he remained silent. His stomach still hurt, and he knew he would maybe cough up some more blood, but he didn’t know if he wanted Beau to see him that way. “It is…” he looked down at his hands nervously. Why did he feel like crying? Like breaking down and just telling Beau things he’s never bothered to tell anyone before. “It just… why does it matter? Why do you care?”
Beau simply continued to rub the blond's back as he seemed to struggle with words. He felt bad for raising his voice but if that was the only way to get Jude to really listen then perhaps he would have to do it more often. He wasn't sure how he could really help Jude other than just be there for him; he wanted to do so much more but when the younger boy was refusing to go to the hospital about this, there was nothing he could do but sit. Like the useless person he was. Beau had to lean forward slightly as he felt the vibrations in Jude's back like talking, just so he didn't miss what was being said. "I care because I do. And that's all that matters."
