I encourage all my Muslim sisters to dream of changing the world. You are capable of such amazing things, so don’t let Society hold you back.

You probably shouldn’t be speaking in place of a Muslim woman, for Muslim women, if you aren’t a Muslim woman. You know, because... you kind of have no idea what we’re going through. And you can’t express it in your own voice.

If you’re feeling distant from the Deen, recite the Shahada a couple of times. Remind yourself that you are Muslim, that you believe in Allah and His messenger.  Sometimes that reaffirmation is enough to bring you back.

One of the many benefits of my hijab is that it covers my ears so I don’t have to hear your ignorance so you might as well just leave now, goodbye.
