“If I were raised by a family different from my own, I wouldn’t be at the same level as class regardless. The Blacks are by far one of the most recognized pureblood families within the wizarding community. There is no one better than us,” Narcissa of course knew that there were a select few that were close, of not aligned with their standings but certainly not a muggleborn or a mudblood at that. “Learning goes beyond the walls of Hogwarts, you unlike me have not been raised knowing of the world and its magic, I on the other hand have been taught since the day I first showed any signs of magic.” Narcissa spoke confidently, she knew she wasn’t one to show off her magic visibly in the way others in her family did, but that didn’t take away from her abilities. “Do not assume things of people you know nothing of, I do not and will not turn to violence no matter how awful it is that I have to share the same air as people like YOU.”
“That doesn’t answer my questions. Would you or would you not have the same views as you do now if you’d been raised by someone with views like mine or Andy’s?” Ted rolled his eyes, “You think I don’t know that? I’ve worked my ass off every day of my life to be where I am. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Everything you see, that’s all me. I had to teach myself control,” He knew that Narcissa was the calmer of Andromeda’s sisters. She didn’t turn to violence as quickly as Bellatrix but that didn’t mean she was blind to it, “I never said you turned to violence but Bellatrix has and your parents have. Although you would never be violent, you’re not exactly against it either. I know it’s wrong.”
