“Of course,” Melody smiled, taking the book off of its shelf from the exact place she remembered it was. “Did you want anything else?”
“ Maybe...give me two copies of that? Probably the twins will get rid of it before we’ll be able to finish it. “ she explained. “ It would be nice to have a reserve.”
“Of course! I’m not inclined to lie about those sort of things. You truly are the sweetest.”
“ And you’re just as sweet. Maybe even more. Trust me, I know.”
“How old are your kids? Because if they’re very, very young, ‘Read to Your Bunny’ is quite a favorite.”
“ Well some are almost ten...but, they go to sleep way faster than the ones that are five. Can I have a copy of that, please?”
“This is true, and I would never doubt your children in the slightest. I’m sure they can’t be too far from here.” Heath smiled reassuringly. “Of course not, I don’t have anywhere to be for a while. You need someone to think like a little boy.”
“ I hope so, the first time and last time I lost them they had almost sold our house.” Molly confessed, hopping that nothing would happen this time. “ Yes, I really do - thank you. My husband is stuck at work apparently.”
Gideon chuckled, it was true that he was blatantly blunt. “I promise to take him apart before telling him off for getting my sister pregnant.” He placed a hand over his chest pretending to be deeply hurt. “It runs in your genes, Mols, you can’t deny the Prewett gene.”
“Well, I still want a girl...” the redhead trailled off with an innocent smile towards her brother as she punched his arm into a gentle manner. “ Yeah, yeah....and it comes from the Weasley gene to be interested in anything and be tricky. What I am going to do with these two? I am literally going to run mad one day.”
“Of course they are, and even more if they are as kind and lovely like you.” Lily said kindly.
“ Thanks Lily, I do hope you’re saying the truth and not just trying to be nice.”
“Yeah,” Andromeda sighed. “Good, dealing with my family as usual, if one can even call them that.”
“ I can’t imagine how hard that must be, I am sorry really.”
“Don’t worry, if hell was a place one could get to from Earth, I’m sure it would’ve sucked me up by now.” she joked lightly, not wanting to add to the other’s nerves. “That sounds about right, should we split up or go looking in the same direction?”
“ That...should make me feel better, right?” the redhead asked a little confused as she took a big breath of air - unsure for a second. “ Same direction. They are most certainly together.”
“Well, you know where I am if needed, it’s no problem at all.”
“ I do, thank you a lot, Greta. It does mean a lot.”
“It’s only a bar,” Ted replied, “But just one drink. It won’t hurt anyone.”
“ Yeah, with booze all over the place. My kids wouldn’t help themselves but touch every single bottle!”
“Sure thing, dear,” she smiled, enjoying the woman’s small anecdote.
“ Thanks. Meanwhile, do you have something quiet like it? I need to make my children go to bed tonight.”
“It’s no problem,” Greta gently shook her head, taking off in the direction of the park, “I could always babysit, if you’d like. I adore children and I can always leave Zara in charge of the tea shop.”
“ I...” Molly started, her eyes roaming around herself in order to look for her little runners. “ never thought about it,but thanks so much for the thought. I will consider it.”
“No, most definitely not, I can read any time, your kids could’ve found their way to the depths of hell by now. I think that’s more important,” Kiara joked, standing up and casting a charm over her books to prevent them from getting snatched. “How old did you say they were?”
“ Hell? Oh, I hope not. If there is someone who can find it...it’s them.” she shook her head quickly. “ Well, between ten and five years old. The five years old are the most energetic, to be honest.”
Heath shook his head, “Sounds like you need a drink to lighten you up some, I was only joking ma'am. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would standby and let some kids trade another or at least you have my word that I wouldn’t. I did however see a couple of gingers playing hide-n-seek near the trees, shall I help you find them?” He offered before adding, “Definitely not a bad mother, kids have a tendency of being nightmares, especially little boys.”
“ You do not know these days, the twins are quiet confident of themselves and I am pretty sure they could manage to do something like that. They’re quiet smart.” Molly quickly nodded her head, glad he was going to help her out. “ If it’s not a bother - please! I have searched the entier area and nothing.”
“Just one drink. Your kids aren’t here. Unless they are,” Ted said, glancing around.
“ Do you really think I would take them in a place like this? No. I am not that crazy...yet.”
“I’m sure it’ll pass in a couple of hours or tomorrow, nothing to concern myself over. How have you been, Molly?”
“ Sure, whatever floats your boat! I’ve been great, taking care of these little naughty boys. What about you?”
