Yeah!

Updates will most likely be on hold for at least a week!

Xissor’s tablet has broken and he does not currently have the money to replace it. Until its able to be replaced, the comic will be on hold.

Comic is going on Hiatus.

This is a bit of a disappointing update. Though we understand a lot of people enjoy reading it, the main artist/author DOES in fact have things they need to do. This comic is above all a hobby and I’m afraid it’s simply no longer sustainable.

I’m not certain when it will be started again but when it does It will not update nearly as often as it did before.

However, there will most likely be one more mini chapter sometime before the “true” hiatus.

We don’t usually check every single person who’s following us because of how long that would take, but we just caught a T.E.R.F trying to follow the comic. In response, I’m here to say that this comic is DEFINITELY not for bigots.

If that’s a problem for you we do not want you here and if you try to spout that bullshit or we see you, you WILL be blocked on sight.

Though it might sound harsh to some, It’s because literally every single person who has worked on this comic thus far has been trans and/or non-binary. So I doubt they’d want to stay anyways.

Quick update!

Hello everyone! I’m afraid the chapter is not going to continue tomorrow as planned since something has come up that has made it somewhat difficult to continue. But fear not! The chapter is still being worked on and it will be back soon!

In the meantime, in response to current events we implore you to please donate to any of the organizations listed HERE. We must support the Black Lives Matter movement, the protesters, and organizations fighting for justice for Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and all of countless other Black lives lost to the epidemic of racist violence by the police and vigilantes alike.

So we can ask questions? Cool, emm, how did you came out with the idea? And how's the process of making a comic? How do you organize yourselves (if there's is more than one person)?

This comic is based off of an old comic Xissor created in 2016! That comic isn’t public anymore but The Back of Your Eyelids is a reboot of it of sorts with a few major plot details changed and updated.

As for how we make the comic, First a few of us (Now a days its usually Lemon and Xissor with edits from everyone else. Paypir and Lichen have helped write the initial scrip before though) will work together in a google doc to write up a script for the chapter.

Then if we need any new concept art for the chapter, Xissor, Lemon, or Paypir will sketch something up and we’ll all deliberate on it. Sometimes this step comes later if someone who wanted to design something is busy.

Once we’re happy with this, someone(Usually Xissor) sketches out all the pages in the chapter to make sure we like how the chapter flows.

After the chapter sketch is complete and agreed upon we sketch up a title page and start lining the chapter

If there’s any specific thing we need done for the chapter(such as things drawn in different art styles for the glitch pages) the people who are working on them will get that done!

Once we get a sufficient backlog of pages(At least two after the title page), we post the title page and start our posting schedule!

For organization basically all we do is have a private discord chat with all the people working on the comic and just talk about it there! Xissor is the main creator and person in charge of the comic and thus is usually the person to keep everyone aware of the specifics of what they need to do and when it’s needed by!

If, however, after we announce we’re finished, change the url, and you find a broken link, let us know about it!

For now if you would like to read the comic from start to finish just use the built in pagination on the desktop blog theme. I’m afraid mobile users are going to have to wait, but they’ll be back soon enough!

As a whole? Fear mixed with Jealousy. She’s always WANTED to know them but definitely not starting on this note. But she does definitely have an... idealized version of them in her head.
